Thanks, defo something to work on - I've had some good suggestions so far.

Thanks a bunch!

Cheers, glad you enjoyed!

Defo agree on that, think it would've been nice to have the buildings unlock as you gain enough population so they are introduced at the moment when they will come in useful. If only we all had more time lol

Super intuitive and finely balanced, love the idea too! It's remarkable how much is contained in this tiny game.

Best thing I can say is 5 stars all around :)

Glad you enjoyed! Defo agree on that front, took my mates moment to puzzle out the second expansion.

Loving your game so far - great idea, great execution!

Cheers and thanks for rating :)

lolol glad you enjoyed!

Highscore is a population of 3010 and that's pretty damn hard

Cheers, that's a good idea I'd defo implement in a post jam version!

Yo I'm playing all the games with the word 'Astro' in the title, this one's another banger!

I love how unique each weapon is and how they encourage you to move in different ways. Though it's easy to lose control of your rocket in the mayhem, I had the most success making careful, tiny adjustments.

Nevertheless super well presented and polished. Also I appreciate a fellow CRT game lol

Fun and pretty addictive, nice twist on the idler formula. Could defo go with a premise & some juicy graphics and sounds to go with it.

Yo I'm playing all the games with the word 'Astro' in the title, so far loving 'em.

This game is MANIC, the mechanic clicks immediately and in no time at all you are throwing your mouse across the screen with wayyy to many things to handle at once.

Starts getting really tough around planet 3 and at that point I wouldn't mind a quick warning to let me know which hamster is about to overwork itself to death (take that sentence out of context).

Graphics are super cute and the audio is goofy and fun, especially the way the derpy hamster sounds contrast with the super-serious space ambiance.

Great game!

Yo I'm playing all the games with the word 'Astro' in the title.

So far loving these games. This starts off tough as nails but once you have enough oxygen you can slow down and move more carefully... although I still ended up carpet bombing my way to victory lol.

Love the pico8-esque graphics and the way the music warps as you delve deeper. Also appreciate how the ranged enemies don't shoot you when you're right in their face.

I got the mega-gem 36 runs (curious), but I was able to cut that down to 12.

Yo I'm playing all the games with the word 'Astro' in the title, starting here.

I super dig this game, you have all the control you need over the game to control your ship over vast distances. Gradually managing your relative velocity is strangely calming and it's super satisfying to pull off a clean landing.

The graphics are clean and effective, they do exactly what they need to do.

And on top of all of that a level editor!? Some more time in the oven and I'd play this on steam.

Stellar entry :)

Really cool game, I love how attacking is integrated into the timer.

Standing in the dark looking for blood bags and planning your next move is super tense, great stuff.

REALLY dig the art-style, just barely dodging the guard triangles while carrying a massive stack of loot is really funny and super fun. Integrating your suspicion metre with the timer was an elegant way to handle that mechanic too. Great game :)

Thanks, yea I'm definitely guilty of making tough jam entries. In hindsight I'd probably tweak the world generation to give a tiny bit more of an edge to the player. As it stands it helps to play it slow :)

Fun game, I especially like that your gun is used to buy upgrades and knock down health pickups too, elegant stuff. I'd say make the coins a little easier to see tho haha.

Love the idea, and presented super well too - just wish I could beat level 2!

LOL love how your guy is so addicted he ups and dies when he's out of money

Definitely oozes classic arcade vibes with the sfx

Cheers, glad you enjoyed!

Cheers, finally got to use a color-burn effect :)

Neat twist on a super-meat boy style platformer, though it gets difficult in a hurry.

The presentation is super clean, I love how the timer wipes back to 30 behind the castle.

Neat idea, it's cool that you can make longer jumps if you have more charge which rewards fast play.

I dig the color palette and hand drawn animations too :)

Totally accurate depiction of real life events,  got 'pols' so I'm pretty close to that teapot myself...

Funny goofy game :)

Wow, insanely impressive for 4 days. There's a lot of complexity in this dice battler and it goes by very fast. But I love the idea of juggling your character and your city.

Also love how your character & their enemy bobs in perfect time with the music :)

Gets manic fast!

I love that it's all presented as death's desk job :)

Super cute and funny idea. I like how the enemies rack up in challenge as the game progresses.

Small bug; you don't need to keys to get through the doors :|

Love this, super creative idea and clean presentation.

Though I suck at word games I enjoy that the puzzles have as many solutions as valid paths to the answer you can fit in your flips.

Hey thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed! Not sure if / when I'll develop this further, got other things in the pipeline at the minute.

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks so much!

Thanks for the feedback, I'm so glad you liked it!

Thanks a bunch!

Just to clarify, you mean you did not like the fact that it took a moment to grasp the concept?

Add a few more levels & complementary mechanics and you would have no idea this was built in 48 hours. The game is perfectly polished, looks great and sounds snappy.

The game is perfectly clear and the difficulty curve is well tuned making it super easy to pick up and just keep playing. I also like that there are clear moments of puzzle solving, where you must speed up a river early to anticipate a frog much later and more chaotic, reactionary moments.

All of this makes for a great submission!

Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback, this is all super helpful criticism and it's great to hear you found the concept interesting too!

A fun concept, made very well. I love how simple it is to pick up and start playing, no tutorial required, and how you can use the momentum of your mouse to control the power of the bounce.

And then having to juggle your character and block arrows is a strong evolution of the idea and leads to several frantic scenarios!

The graphics are great too and that slowdown is a handy feature for accessibility.

Really cool game!

Don't be deceived by the humble graphics, this game actually has a really cool concept behind it.

The idea of controlling your bullet(s) has been explored several times in this jam but I especially like this take for the simple reason that to move you must control your bullets into yourself. This suddenly creates an interesting decision to be made with every shot. Combine this with being able to redirect each projectile several times and I think it makes for an excellent basis for a game.

Oh and the music fits perfectly to, really enjoyed this game!

26600, though I'd really like to see if there's anything else further on

Thanks so much for playing!

To be honest when I submitted the game I thought 'nobody's gonna understand what's going on' XD

I'm super happy to see that people are liking the concept but still wish I had of made it more clear in the game.

Thank you so much, I'm so glad you enjoyed!

...and yea the programming was a headache, I go in to detail lower down in the comments but just having played your game I doubt you need to read it XD
