I remember feeling lost the first time I played it, especially after falling down a pit. I played it again and was mostly able to remember the route, and I was able to play through the game much faster. The visuals with the cat and the lighting is great. The cat holding the flashlight is adorable! I think the game could use some more quiet atmospheric sound effects for immersion. But yeah, it was fun to jump around and click the flashlight on / off.

I really enjoyed the music and the fishing section. Even the fish swimming section was fun. The music is fantastic and fits the vibe so well. The realization that you are fishing in the same spot you were swimming in earlier is a cool moment in the game. I like how this game has a plot in story mode. I think the timer should pause when you are on the upgrade screen in arcade mode, and maybe the game should have at least one more upgrade. But yeah, I enjoyed this one. Fabulous!
I made it pretty far but then lost because I forgot to change colors. I feel like this game nailed the theme and also the gameplay is fun and engaging. The text is funny and reminds me of the text at the bottom of the screen in BTD 6. It could have a quick tutorial at the start, and maybe even an alternate mode where you have to traverse a larger area like a dungeon or something. Oh right, I also enjoyed the elevator music, and how the music changes.
Shadowy Den is actually quite fun. The skull on the death screen scared me at least once. I would love it if there was a sound effect when the character dies, and a pause before transitioning to the death screen. The control scheme greatly upset me at first, but I got used to it and made it through some of the rooms in the aforementioned Shadowy Den. I was surprised by how many rooms / levels there are! It was a lot of fun to manage my energy level while climbing walls and swimming through rivers. I was much more worried about my energy than HP. And yeah, the controls screen showing a block of 9 keys scared me worse than skull did, but I like how it's different and cool.
