We very intentionally from the start referenced Viva pinata. :)

Thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing the game, and your kind words about it!
I think one of the main things we didn't do well was actually communicating to the player what to do... DOH!
The box button on the tool bar is your inventory, where the items you can buy form the shop go, you can select them from here and place them into the garden.  :)

Well made, fun style. Not sure I understood the mercenary game, I just kept clicking, then after like, 10 minutes I won? Well done, a lot to have gotten done here.

A lot going on here, well done! I did run into a bug where i couldn't enter the mine on restart? Though, maybe I was supposed to have gone to bed after that? Also the gems got stuck in the sorting platforms sometimes. Bu really well done, a lot to have gotten done for a game jam, and a very ambitious genre!

Cool idea! I found after I got the multiple on the initial spot, I could then just moved them to their spots without them all having to be on there at the same time, I was thankful for this, but I don't know if it was intended? I am a big fan of the art design.

Nice game! I enjoyed the design of the puzzles! Sadly a box for holding down a button got stuck on a wall and I couldn't dislodge it at one point, I couldn't see a way to restart the level if there was one, but that would add a lot to the game. Good idea though, and good design!

Wasn't sure if this was supposed to be part of it, but it seems holding w or s doesn't actually propel you forward or backward. The closest I could get was to spam S to go forward, but couldn't stick with it, I would have liked to have seen the rest of the game, looked like you had planned out some cool stuff!

Really great game, very well designed puzzles! And really smart set up for us to learn by running it without having to have instructions! I stopped at 1000 as my brain was melt. Well done!!!!

Thanks for playing the game!
Yeah, I kind of just had to slap the last level in last minute, and didn't do enough testing on it.
I think we also didn't do enough work to communicate you can dash with spacebar on Keyboard or the A button on gamepad

Thanks, we tried to signal the ball being the right size with the outline turning green from red, but seems this is not as intuative as we though.

Web build didn't work for me.
But the windows build worke great, was good fun!

My child's résumé is sadly sub standard, so I think it only appropriate the enter into a management role for "bring your child and work" day.

Quack!

Thanks very much, I too got annoyed by the patient placement sometimes, but it is actually random when you leave the pub which beds will be occupied. And I also second the text issue, it works better in full screen, but I only really notice how "loud" I made the dialog display about 15 mins before the entry... WHOOPS

Loved this! Well done!
The dredd built up was perfect!

This was great! Well done!

The enemy in the dark we all face... Hunger!
I hope to have this many cats one day also! Had a good time, thanks!

Love the art and the atmosphere, this is great, well done!

Really liked this, great game feel! Also love you gave a working scoreboard.

I love the game feel of picking up and yeeting the kids back to safety, lol... Maybe there is something wrong with me...

Yeah, It all just seems to work now, lol. I think I was just being silly. :S
Thanks!

Love the visuals and the aesthic overal!
I think the slow reveal of the text doesn't really work, as I just had to wait till it was fully revealed to be able to parse it. Maybe if it went vertically instead?

Sorry, I actually couldn't find anything to run in the download, any guidance to how to play your game?

Really weird, if I scroll down to the bottom of the page, then back up, it works...

Oh, wait, never mind, it progessed when I clicked back in... ^^'

Looks great, and the audio is really well done!
I seem to be stuck on the branch by the birds at the right... Is there some way for me to get past this?

Love how the footsteps are in time with the music!
The art is great also! Well done!

Thanks! Yeah I got frame rate issues as well, lol.
We thought about profiling for some optimization, then noticed we only had half an hour left... I guess it goes to prove the old thing of build early... WHOOPS.

Yeah, I am not sure why it is crashing there right at the last hurdle, sorry about that... :(

Yeah, I dunno what is causing thats, I get the game freezing sometimes coming back from the invisible platform one. I think you are the only one who got past the last rotating platform so no one else has had it. But don't worry the closer is very underwhelming. xD

Thanks! Yeah I kind of lost the thread of the story tbh, and just went for some random theme based puzzles.  xD

So it pings based on which of the pingable things is closest. If that makes sense. The plan was that we would have written clues to where they were, but due to time contraints I ended up procedually placing the trash round the site, so just fudged the ping system in.

Yeah I wondered whether that bit was too hard, but thought it was nice to have something that was chalenging  :)

Pretty funny how the two comments so far experienced the two different parts of the game  xD

There should be keys at the end of the two puzzle levels, these can be accessed from the pipe-like entrances you can also dig up. You should be able to find them with the ping tool also.
I threw in the text last minute,it could do with a lot more explantation. hahaha

I should say, as I know the in game dialog is not clear.
Left Click to dig
Space bar to ping for near by buried items
F to toggle torch
E to interact

Great little concept for a game imo!
Works great. Nice little compact experience

This is great,
The moving the window around is a brilliant concept.
Got some good Thomas was alone vibes.

Well done!

There was a chest to find as the final item you could ping on the map.
But you got though the main meat of it   hahaha

_take stained underwear_

I like this!
Might have helped the flow if the staff had name tags so I could type a shorter name rather than their job title.

Was sad I couldn't ">Find God" in the chapel.

Seems very well done!
