Aw just noticed your message but thanks <3
We are probably going to create a new game for another jam again this year :3 Can't wait!

Thanks <3! You have to try to replace all your old high tech resources by new, low-tech ones before the timer of old buildings runs out. If any of your resources is not full (100%), people will start dying until you've completed the map.
In order to increase your resource production (and thus the score), you can try different patterns of constructions and test different interactions between them :D
The art is cool, while simple it really fits the atmosphere. I liked the warped screen, reminded me of good ol' screens, it was a nice detail. An undertale-like music would have made it incredible. I was honestly amazed by how good the controls reply, it's just too bad that there was no tutorial screen at all in game to tell you what keys to use, and you have to read the game description instead.
I kind of suck at platformers though, so I was stucked in the room with the kind of big eyes that shoot projectiles at you. While it's great that there is a checkpoint here (I could try multiple times), I found it quite unfair that the projectiles go through the plateforms, cuz the only time I managed to not land on the spikes I got killed by a projectile from under the plateform.
Though, I had quite fun exploring the cave and testing stuff, and my awful level at plateformers is not a real criteria :D great job :3
Glad you liked the game overall! Yeah, we wanted the discovery of the "compound" or "boosted" buildings to be a surprise, but we could have hinted in the tutorial that there could be hidden combinations :P Sadly we did the tutorial in a rush, like 20 mins before submission XD
We aimed for the kind of difficulty that make people fail on first try but win on second try (and then improve their scores on further tries), which seems to be your case and the case of many others, so I'm happy!
That's quite a high score! You probably managed to save everyone in your population :D Good job!
Glad that this type of game fit your tastes :D!
I agree with your feeling. While some mechanics were intentionally left to discover for the player, we should have improved clarifications on others... but well at some point you have to let it go and submit before the jam ends XD
Thanks for trying our game and commenting!
Wow it's amazing to think you have done all the assets and coding yourself :o you're a killer!
But unfortunately I don't have a QWERTY keyboard so I couldn't move around proberly and didn't have patience to rebind my own keyboard xD Would have been nice to have a way to rebind in game :D Using WASD is always a bit risky, tough we are a minority not having QWERTY keyboards.
Still, I got the idea of the game and it was quite nice :3
So far the most original game I've tried in this game jam! It must have been hard to recreate the rules of chess. I enjoyed a lot the tutorial and the jokes about the story behind every pawn. Unfortunately I suck both at the "old" version of chess and this new one, haha. I managed to finish my first game but I'm not entirely sure how XD
Sound and music would have been nice but I understand that you didn't have time to do everything. I had screen size issues that I didn't manage to correct (resizing option wasn't working).

Hi :D
I could launch the game but it's written too little for me too ^^
I think the binding keys are for QWERTY keyboard and I don't have one :'( There are ways to ask the player what kind of keyboard they use, rebind keys, or just put arrows instead of letters for direction :D But either way the text is too little so I wouldn't have been able to do much more even if I had the right keyboard ^^
Too bad but I see you've posted just before the end so I understand that you probably lacked time :D
Very nice take on the theme, I feel like I would have liked a little bit more guidance maybe, or maybe some returns like "Oh good you solved it! Oh, you just found out that this button does that" like unlocking stuff (maybe I just need praise hahahaha). Also maybe something to have an idea how many puzzles I had solved and how many were yet to be solved.
But I think the game was quite clever and not too hard if you take some time to try different combinations.
Hello! Just to let you know that we have used and modified part of your free asset for Godot Wild Jam #57 entry "Reclaim!".
Thanks for sharing your work! We also shared our original designs here along with the modified assets, trying to credit everyone properly. Cheers!
(I'm sorry we were in the rush for the game submission and we didn't credit you properly in it, but we made up for it in the asset page.)
Findind the way back home was a nice idea, but I felt like the commands didn't always reply like I'd have wanted, for instance for jumping diagonally I often ended up jumping straight. Maybe I just sucked though XD Let's see how the others are going to make it! Did you do the pixel art yourself for the background :D?
(Btw I found home but he god tired just before the door lol, I was mad at him!)
I like the tower defense idea! Also the experience flow materialised by the page pull is nice. I would have liked to know which level I was, I couldn't see it, maybe I missed it ? Also with a little music it would have been perfect :P
Does it have an end, or it's endless waves? I lasted 3 mins so far ^^
