The Options Menu Game is a Narrative Parody Game. As devs we create Options Menus all the time and put in a lot of work, as a narrative piece this highlights that and brings it into a funny atmosphere. As the 'player' you get to explore different arching paths and see what Options you have available.
This game serves almost as a love letter to the developer community. We put in SO much work into our games and some aspects we spend weeks or longer on are only viewed for mere minutes. As devs we have real emotions and get excited, angry, sad, and more when it comes to game development. My goal has been to highlight some of those aspects. The demo showcases a VERY small aspect of the game, but its still narratively fun experience to be had.
