The pachinko pins have a little bit of random drift when the game loads, so you might have gotten a lucky board and a lucky bounce :)

Thanks for taking the time to play and make a nice comment! I spent a lot of time on the audio. There's a background hum, the music track changes between 3 versions based on how many credits you have, and there are I think 12 different sounds that play based on either action on the board or different jackpot levels.

Thank you! I thought simple shapes and a white border would make for a nice look with the bloom effect, since I'm not much of an artist. To hear from someone that recognized AND liked it, that means a lot to me, thank you!!

The roulette wheel ball positioning is the one thing I didn't get to. I wanted to have them flow from the pachinko machine somehow, but ran out of time.

If I decide to work on it again, clicker mechanics is probably where I would go. Really appreciate the thoughtful comment :)

Wow I really love the art! It stands out a lot in this jam. I like the idea of using terrain/highground in this kind of game, too.

Wow, thanks for the flattering comment! I'm glad you enjoyed it!!

Thanks for the comment! I checked out your multi-game as well and it's another cool take on a triple-game. Thanks for sharing it.

Ah, good call on the resolution; for this one I wanted to make it kind of optimized for vertical play, so maybe opening it on your phone would give you a better experience! I'll think about the 1080 resolution in the future when I make a vertical game.

Really nice game! You packed a lot into this and it was pretty fun to play.

The visuals are really good, and I like the idea of the theme of collecting dice for random powerups. It's got some neat ideas that could be expanded on with a little more time in the oven! Good work.

The best score I got was 4546. It was actually pretty fun to try to get a high score, even though the character movement is super heavy and levels are totally crazy.

I like the simple programmer art, it really fit the theme and the layout was great.

I think the difficulty was perfect for a jam, but it would be cool to have a timer on the viruses so I could prioritize which ones to go after. That would make it more game-like and less just typing.

The DNA mutating was an awesome implementation of the theme, and I really love the art. Having animations for the enemy spawning is a nice polish touch that I didn't see in many other survivors-likes in this contest. Doing it in LÖVE, also props to that.

Thank you so much! I'm not an artist at all, but I spent at least 8 hours on just the visuals and audio 😭

Pretty unique concept, and good execution on it! Nice work.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I wanted to balance it so most pulls were slightly negative, but big wins come often.

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for taking the time to play

Thanks for the comment! I maybe overdid it with the bloom filter, but it was an experiment so I wanted to push the boundaries a bit.

Thanks for taking the time to play! I'm still brand new to game dev, so I am focusing on one thing at a time in each jam, and this time it was the audiovisual coherency and juice! So I appreciate the validation.

Really good game! You packed a ton into here and it's a really good use of the theme. The idea of every shot being random and deliberate is great. With some tuning it could turn into a mechanic for a longer game imo, but it's already great as a gamejam game.

Haha yeah, that part took more time than I want to admit debugging getting the location of the ball relative to the spinning roulette table correct, but the effect of a spinning roulette with moving balls was something I didn't want to give up! Thanks for taking the time to play!

Thank you! I'm not much of an artist, but I really wanted to do the art right for this project and am satisfied with how it turned out.

Graphics and sound came together nicely! Nice teamwork on this one.

Nice game, the card effects are nice and you created quite a bit of content for it! Well done.

Nice start to a Balatro-like! Would like to see what you could have done with more time.

I'm a sucker for typing games, that was fun!

Great little game! I had fun and the graphics were perfect.

Nice job on the upgrades and progression, enjoyed playing through all 8 levels.

Really cool visuals! Unique gameplay, as well. Nice work!

Really original idea and it turns out to be actually pretty fun! Nice job.

Fun game! The gameplay is pretty balanced which is really nice to see in these small games, really hard to do in such a short jam.

Fun idea for this theme! Unlike any of the other ones I've played.

Cool idea! Nice bite-sized experience, I beat it in about a minute.

Thank you!

Thanks for trying it out!

Thanks for taking the time to play!

I beat the one level! It's a good game idea and a good start, but a bit undercooked as I'm sure you know.

You might need to change the size of the frame in the browser version, I couldn't see it without messing with the html.

Great use of the theme, and nice graphics to go along with it!

Nice to see another person with a pure one button RNG game :)

Cool idea of forcing you to adapt to what the game throws at you based on your own characters abilities, rather than randomness from enemies.

All the 3D models are super cute! I think there's a good idea in here.

Fellow slot machine maker for this jam! Nice job with the animation of the slot machine, and the incremental gameplay loop is a great addition.

Great minds think alike! We both had 3 different types of randomness, including plinko :)
Nice idea and I like the implementation of having the coin and dice go down the plinko board at the same time.
