Thanks for taking the time to play and comment! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you for taking the time to play and leave a detailed comment! I'm really glad you mentioned the present tumbling through the air and other bits of juice, I spent quite a bit of time on stuff like locking the present to the z-axis but still letting it rotate freely across all axes.

If I had some more time, I would have tightened up the loop (or even let you throw the next present immediately), made the UI fit the theme a bit more, and maybe added more powerups to the progression.

I really appreciate the feedback, and will use it to keep improving.

Thank you for the compliment, it means a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The level design and powerup design was really clever. Definitely keep it up!

Wow, thanks for the kind comments and the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed playing!!

I tried to figure out a way to get the "misses" to not take as long, so good call on that critique. Basically, the game manager has a state machine for the game loop, and when a present is still "moving" it won't transition onto the next loop and let you throw another present. I have a few potential solutions in mind, but didn't have time to get to them. As for relearning the controls, that was kind of the point, but I meant to add an indicator that showed how much stronger you got or something and just forgot to implement it 😅

Thanks again for the feedback!

Thank you so much! I had a few goals for this project, and one of them was satisfying player feedback in a 3D game. And also I really wanted to connect the theme to the gameplay, which you also noticed!

I really appreciate the kind words and the follow, and playing enough to get 80 points!.

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for taking the time to play. Yeah, Angry Birds (or at least my memory of playing it 12 years ago) was a partial inspiration.

Thanks for taking the time to play! I hoped the controls were a decent mix of easy to understand and play, but not make the game too easy.

Awesome, that's exactly the feeling I was going for! Thanks for taking the time to play.

Thanks for taking the time to play enough to get that good of a score!!

Cool idea! I also had a "throwing" type game, but we ended up doing something totally different. I really liked the ideas of the different powerups, although I couldn't beat the level where you have to use the stars.

I enjoyed playing it.

I also made a throwing game! Nice work, and cute graphics and story.

Really neat artstyle. I enjoyed the claustrophobic and spooky atmosphere.

Really nicely balanced game all the way up to the end! I also hit the "win screen"
By the end it got a bit hard to see everything since the screen is mostly different buildings, but that just added to the challenge. Nice game.

Really fun game! It took 4 tries and some good rolls to beat it. Nice work!!

This was fun! I had to keep playing until I unlocked the second track :)

Nice little game! I like the mechanic of getting snowballs back after you successfully nab a present. And the progression layer is cool.

A little music and sound would really bring a lot to this game I think :)

Really great interpretation of the prerequisite! First time I've seen an agar.io-like on a game jam, and it was a good fit. Nice work!

Really interesting control and game concept. Definitely not complete but the start of something quite interesting.

Nice job making something unique.

Nice game! I played all the way through; nice message at the end. Would have been cool to see a total score and a little more visual feedback, but I loved the Santa visual!

Nice execution of a simple idea! Hard mode was really tough but the most fun to try to get a high score on. Medium is basically endless since you get enough wreaths and candycanes to always hide from the coal.

Really fun. I have the top score for now :)

Really nice looking game, and fun way to integrate the prerequisite.

Amazingly cute! Really love the artstyle and wanted to see more!

Cute game and nice presentation. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the sounds/music and it was satisfying to complete it all.

Well-balanced clicker! I ended up playing until I maxed out the upgrades. Nice job.

Really nice looking game. It's hard to tell when a jump is actually going to work or not, though. I liked the challenge, anyway. I got about 2k points before giving up.

Love the pixel art graphics! The duck movement is also very silly but adds a nice charm.

Cool idea of kind of a tower defense where the tower building is separate from the minigame of collecting candy canes. It was fun, and difficult!

Pretty fun game! I got stuck on the geometry though every time I played.

Wow really great entry! Unique idea, great artstyle and mood, and pulled it off nicely!

I really liked the graphics! Really created a mood.

Is there really a winning star? I couldn't find it after a number of tries...

Really cute snail graphics! I loved the animation on the character.

Surprisingly good mechanics and puzzles. I enjoyed playing it through to the end.

The pachinko pins have a little bit of random drift when the game loads, so you might have gotten a lucky board and a lucky bounce :)

Thanks for taking the time to play and make a nice comment! I spent a lot of time on the audio. There's a background hum, the music track changes between 3 versions based on how many credits you have, and there are I think 12 different sounds that play based on either action on the board or different jackpot levels.

Thank you! I thought simple shapes and a white border would make for a nice look with the bloom effect, since I'm not much of an artist. To hear from someone that recognized AND liked it, that means a lot to me, thank you!!

The roulette wheel ball positioning is the one thing I didn't get to. I wanted to have them flow from the pachinko machine somehow, but ran out of time.

If I decide to work on it again, clicker mechanics is probably where I would go. Really appreciate the thoughtful comment :)

Wow I really love the art! It stands out a lot in this jam. I like the idea of using terrain/highground in this kind of game, too.

Wow, thanks for the flattering comment! I'm glad you enjoyed it!!

Thanks for the comment! I checked out your multi-game as well and it's another cool take on a triple-game. Thanks for sharing it.

Ah, good call on the resolution; for this one I wanted to make it kind of optimized for vertical play, so maybe opening it on your phone would give you a better experience! I'll think about the 1080 resolution in the future when I make a vertical game.

Really nice game! You packed a lot into this and it was pretty fun to play.
