The only problem with that would be that you wouldn't be able to make multilap tracks anymore... Unless changes are made so that the finish block can allow for multiple laps..

In the editor, when placing blocks by holding down the mouse, then using Z or C to move up or down, when there is a lag spike, it leaves gaps in walls and things when building...

Something like the author medal would also be cool...

With the part with the wall blocks, make it a loop like this:

Could there be a way to make something like the colour picker in the car customisation for blocks in the editor? Also, could you make something like a sliding bar when you click on the angle tab (on the bottom left in the editor) for different track piece angles (as there is only one semi-angled block and it can be annoying to have to work around it)

There isn't a way to tell what direction, other than the degrees on the left side of the editor to tell what way a checkpoint is facing for differences of 180 degrees. Could you add something like an arrow in the editor to show the direction? This would help with what way the car respawns from.

Could there be different heights for checkpoints and finishes? Sometimes the car can crash into the top part of the checkpoint or finish and there isn't an easy fix at the moment.

I'm playing Polytrack on Google Chrome, and the engine seems to have deterministic issues with things like respawns. Sometimes, when I respawn, the physics will behave differently than other times. An example is my run on a track that I am working on:
