Maybe a little RNG heavy (I ended up just resetting runs that gave bad obstacle placement) but I had a good time!

Fun game! It was super cool every time the shape grew another edge lol. One thing I noticed is that pressing retry resets the audio settings.

Theme leaves a little to be desired, but I actually still had a lot of fun. The physics feel very responsive and the AI opponent is surprisingly good.

The AI felt a bit like an unstoppable bulldozer - I couldn't get my score above 0 lol

I was a little confused at first, but once I had enough players to where I didn't need to keep dragging them to the ball, the game became incredibly satisfying. I just wish the score multiplier and field size timers wouldn't run down while in the shop menu, on a trackpad it was pretty frantic trying to stack purchases and then close the shop quickly lol. Great work though!

As a Bennet Foddy enjoyer this game slaps

This is lowkey my  favourite game in the whole jam. I've come back to it the most times to keep playing it (though, I'm still awful at it lol). The concept is just so damn good (and addictive!). I only wish i could go into or restart attempts faster, maybe by pressing R or something.

Regardless, amazing work!

The aesthetics are super cute. I went in expecting the game to be pretty simple/easy, but was pleasantly surprised! Solid entry.

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

You can see your score on the game over screen, or on the local leaderboard, accessible from the main menu.

Immaculate. Almost nothing to complain about - the only problem I had was that pressing escape freezes/crashes the game haha

Sorry about that, we could've made it more obvious! The direction keys correspond to corners in the octagon - e.g., (you can rebind these, but WASD + Space for the sake of example) S is the bottom corner, W is the top, A is left and D is right. Combining these keys aims towards the diagonal corners, e.g, holding WA is the top left corner, SD is the bottom right, and so on. When you pick the corner you want to move to, you press space to dash there.

If you try with a mouse (just clicking on the corner you want to dash to) or try it on mobile (tapping/swiping), it might be a bit more intuitive :)

Really cute art style, DECEPTIVELY difficult. Made it onto the leaderboard tho :3

It's so pretty!! Must play for the aesthetics (really hard though lol).

Lowkey kinda addictive as far as these games go! The goal explosion effect is pretty satisfying and it's fun to see/hear it stack. One thing that would be cool is if when you "evolve" the ball, the ball purchase icon changed to the ball you currently have, and evolve showed the next one. Though, on the other hand, the anticipation and reveal of the new ball type is pretty funny. Nice work!

Very chill game. One thing I had a minor gripe with is that the skateboard is a little slow - sometimes it felt like it wasn't possible to paddle a ball because I couldn't physically move it fast enough (definitely could just be a skill issue on my part though lol). Also, really nice work on the fire ball mechanic!

I like the concept, it's a lot more difficult than I thought it would be haha. Things get pretty hectic especially when there's more than one ball on the screen. One minor note is that sometimes when the balls roll down the sides, it feels a bit too tough to get them back above the flippers. But pretty solid overall, nice work!

I absolutely love the little walking animations lol. The artstyle is really cute, and the difficulty-scaling/variety is actually pretty good. I think a bit more variety with the sound effects, especially like sfx playing when you pick up the powerups would make the game feel a little more alive. An options menu would've also been nice, maybe for next time.

Overall, great work!!
