Here is the second track in the Midnight Mode series :)

"Midnight Paddock"
I've already introduced the main theme from the fictional Riviera Downshift, but now we're deep into it's extensive "career mode"! After many races and trials, you are finally ready to tackle the final sprint. It is a beautiful summer evening and your upgraded car is waiting at the paddock, while you're sipping on your drink and chilling on the grass at T2 of the infamous Riviera Raceway. No matter the outcome tomorrow, you've come far from your humble beginnings...

DARK SOULS series has some great music, but my favorite have always been the hub tunes like Firelink Shrine and Majula. This is an original theme in this style, but it only has 32 bits! :) You may rest and replenish your vigor and vitality, but the Undead Curse still looms in the dark corners of the realm...

I'm thrilled to introduce a new Youtube series, aptly titled MIDNIGHT MODE!

Every Monday, we will explore a new fictional video game setting, with the main theme being the night. This journey will take us through different levels, consoles and even generations and YOUR help will be greatly appreciated!
Leave a comment with your preferred setting (you can add lore, details and console generation, be creative!) and I'll pick one for the next video in the series :)

MIDNIGHT MODE #01 - Streets of Ventura
"This ambient piece comes from a fictional video game called BioSpector, specifically the level 2 where you get to explore the corrupt streets of Ventura at night. Hailed as the spiritual successor to the original Deus Ex, the game delved even deeper into the "immersive sim" game mechanics. Ultimately the game was not a commercial success but remains a favorite of a small group of devoted fans."

You're very much welcome!
Thank you for your support :))
Cheers

A love letter to both the GT series and vintage racing :) Not every race is a sprint, so enjoy this lounge/lobby track!

Here's an example of adaptive/dynamic sci-fi ambience. This stuff poses a different set of challenges than writing "traditional" soundtracks, but it's also a lot of fun :)
This is also something I'd love to explore more in a proper project (hint, hint!), either this or something dark fantasy themed!

Looks great, well done! :)

Love taking inspiration from the MegaDrive/Genesis chip 👾

For some reason, my reply didn't get through. I've replied right away, sorry for the error :(
Anyway, drop me an email at arnocyreus@gmail.com or add me on discord: arnocyreus
I'll send you the extra tracks + something extra as a token of gratitude for the unfortunate wait...
Cheers!

Hi!
I'll drop you an email, I'd be glad to help anyway I can :)
Here's my discord as well if it helps: arnocyreus
Cheers!

I love the concept and the demo is very promising! Had fun playing it  :)
I miss racers like this, so I'm hyped!
If you ever need any help with music and audio, I'd be glad to help as this would be an absolute passion project.
Hope this gets the support it deserves and I'm keeping my eyes peeled for updates.
Cheers!

Some nostalgic PS2 era life/simulator/lobby/city building music 😎

A small tribute to two of my favorite games growing up, Goldeneye 64 and Perfect Dark!
Another style I'd be totally down to score a game in... Would anyone be at least interested in a music pack? 😎

Cheers!

I've sent you a friend request on discord, I might help you with the audio :)

Nice!

You DID capture that feeling and the funk of the OST :)
Love the bass throughout!

Cheers :)

Been doing some oldschool DnB lately and having immense fun!
This was the sound of my childhood/early teens and I miss it, especially in racing games :)
If anyone is doing a racing game and digging the sounds, I'd LOVE to work on that :)))

I have quite a few of these lined up, so I think a DnB music pack will be in order soon :D

Here's a teaser, I even went an tried Blender for the first time so I could model a wonky low-poly ship, WipEout style!

A big thanks to everyone who's downloaded both the Mini Retro and the Bonfires freebie packs!
I'm really happy so many people find them useful, I'm sure I'll come up with another one soon enough ;)

Working on some cool projects at the moment, but I wanted to do a shoutout to SoundFontGuy for creating the GuyEngine plug-in!
I've always loved the sound of PSX/1/2 and N64/Gamecube the most when it comes to retro games and while I've used my own samples and old romplers in the past, I think I'll get a lot of mileage and fun out of this :)
Here's a quick piece I wrote as a test, echoing the sounds of PS1 era RPGs an adventure games :)
Since my "Adventure 64" pack was a hit, I just might come up with volume 2...

Just what I was looking for :)
It will cover (pun very much intended) all my PS1 style music in the future!
Here's a little tune I did and used the template:

Hi!
I go by the name Arno Cyreus and I'm a music composer and sound designer. I've been here for a while, some of you might have already bought my packs (thanks to everyone!) and I thought it would be cool to have a thread where I can post new stuff and updates. And I'd be more than happy to see what my music was used for, so if you did any projects with it; please share them here :D

I've finally updated some of my packs and added some new ones; Those who previously bought both the Ultra 90s and Super 16 packs can get a few free tracks (just drop me an email at arnocyreus@gmail.com, so I can check). I've also added a free dungeon synth inspired pack to the store, so be sure to grab that ;)

Here is a short introduction of me and what I do:
"Growing up in the 1990s, two things really shaped me as a person; My dad's record collection and the legendary Nintendo 64 me and my sister got one fateful Christmas back in 1996.
I spent many evenings playing air guitar to bands like Judas Priest, Van Halen and the Scorpions, but I also fell in love with the brilliant soundscapes of Koji Kondo, David Wise and Grant Kirkhope, as I was enchanted by the magical music that accompanied all the epic adventures those plastic cartridges held inside.
As a teenager I traded my air guitar for a real one and spent almost two decades playing in various rock and heavy metal bands, touring, writing music and doing studio work.
My love for video games and the music that inspired me decades ago never waned though, so I took all the experiences from my rockin' days and decided to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming a video game composer as well!"

Below are links to some of my work.
If you're interested I am open for commissions at: arnocyreus@gmail.com
I'm also glad to just help out devs and fellow musicians with any advice on music or technical stuff!

I'm looking for exciting new projects!
I've been making music for more than 20 years. In that time I've acquired a lot of live, studio and compositional experiences and have a strong passion for video games since the day I got my SNES.
I'm most at home doing synthesized sounds, but I'm happy to work on anything I feel I can add value to, so don't hesitate to share your ideas!
I love doing retro stuff (either console specific or a modern take on that classic sound), dark fantasy, cyberpunk and synthwave.
I'm easy to work with and give every project the attention to detail it deserves.
As a gaming fan I love to discuss ideas and I'm interested in the projects I'm involved with, not just in a musical sense.

I've also updated some of my music packs and added a few new ones, everything is 50% off till the end of the month ;)

Hi,
My name is Gilian and I'm looking for exciting new projects!
I've been making music for more than 20 years, have a lot of live, studio and compositional experiences and have a strong passion for video games since the day I got my SNES.
I'm most at home doing retro stuff (console specific or an updated mash-up of styles!), rock music and futuristic sounds such as cyberpunk and synthwave.  However, I'm up for anything I feel I can add value to, so don't hesitate to share your ideas with me!

Here are some examples of my work, including a cool game called Lazerynth that's available to play here on Itch!

G.

I'd like to thank everyone who contacted me because of this post, many cool projects in the making!
I will have to close the offer for now, as work is piling up, but I might open something similar in the future, if time will allow it;
On that note I am open for paid commisions, so if you have something that needs music, I'd love to hear your ideas!

I've also updated one of my music packs with more songs and am offering an INTRO price, which is 50% off. Offer stands until the end of April,
so if anyone seeks a bunch of 16 bit era style tracks, they can be found HERE.

Cheers and thanks again to everyone!

Hello!

I go by the name of Arno Cyreus and have been a touring and recording rock musician for the last 15 years. A few years ago I decided to enter the magical world of video game music (something I've thoroughly enjoyed since the SNES/MegaDrive days!) as well and have done a few music packs and a lot of tracks here and there.

I'm happy to work on a lot of different stuff, but my forte are 16bit and 32/64 bit style tunes, guitar driven music and the retro-futuristic sounds of the 1980s also known as synthwave. Since I have a bit of a down time at the moment (no tours obviously...) I'm willing to give a hand to small teams/individuals who need either music for their projects or any help with their own music :) This way I can contribute to the lovely community and also hone my own skills further! If anyone is interested send me an email to arnocyreus@gmail.com with a short introduction of yourself and your project and we'll see if we can work together!

The only "restrictions" are that I have to like the project, that way I can do my best to give you something really cool! As I am an active musician, I will not be able to work on too many projects at the same time  and once I get busy again the offer will obviously be limited. Here's my SoundCloud, you're welcome to take a listen and if you have an interesting project that needs music, drop me a line!

Cheers and all the best,
