Hi!
I go by the name Arno Cyreus and I'm a music composer and sound designer. I've been here for a while, some of you might have already bought my packs (thanks to everyone!) and I thought it would be cool to have a thread where I can post new stuff and updates. And I'd be more than happy to see what my music was used for, so if you did any projects with it; please share them here :D

I've finally updated some of my packs and added some new ones; Those who previously bought both the Ultra 90s and Super 16 packs can get a few free tracks (just drop me an email at arnocyreus@gmail.com, so I can check). I've also added a free dungeon synth inspired pack to the store, so be sure to grab that ;)

Store: https://arnocyreus.itch.io/

Here is a short introduction of me and what I do:
"Growing up in the 1990s, two things really shaped me as a person; My dad's record collection and the legendary Nintendo 64 me and my sister got one fateful Christmas back in 1996.
I spent many evenings playing air guitar to bands like Judas Priest, Van Halen and the Scorpions, but I also fell in love with the brilliant soundscapes of Koji Kondo, David Wise and Grant Kirkhope, as I was enchanted by the magical music that accompanied all the epic adventures those plastic cartridges held inside.
As a teenager I traded my air guitar for a real one and spent almost two decades playing in various rock and heavy metal bands, touring, writing music and doing studio work.
My love for video games and the music that inspired me decades ago never waned though, so I took all the experiences from my rockin' days and decided to pursue a lifelong dream of becoming a video game composer as well!"

Below are links to some of my work.
If you're interested I am open for commissions at: arnocyreus@gmail.com
I'm also glad to just help out devs and fellow musicians with any advice on music or technical stuff!

Generation 298X is a collection of tracks, inspired by retro sci-fi, Italian "giallo" cinema, contemporary take on cyberpunk music and dark synthwave. While still melodic and catchy, this one brings out the darker nuances of the synthpop genre. Inspired by cyberpunk, Italian thriller/slasher cinema, dark fantasy, the works of J. Carpenter and Tangerine Dream."

A big thanks to everyone who's downloaded both the Mini Retro and the Bonfires freebie packs!
I'm really happy so many people find them useful, I'm sure I'll come up with another one soon enough ;)

Working on some cool projects at the moment, but I wanted to do a shoutout to SoundFontGuy for creating the GuyEngine plug-in!
I've always loved the sound of PSX/1/2 and N64/Gamecube the most when it comes to retro games and while I've used my own samples and old romplers in the past, I think I'll get a lot of mileage and fun out of this :)
Here's a quick piece I wrote as a test, echoing the sounds of PS1 era RPGs an adventure games :)
Since my "Adventure 64" pack was a hit, I just might come up with volume 2...

Been doing some oldschool DnB lately and having immense fun!
This was the sound of my childhood/early teens and I miss it, especially in racing games :)
If anyone is doing a racing game and digging the sounds, I'd LOVE to work on that :)))

I have quite a few of these lined up, so I think a DnB music pack will be in order soon :D

Here's a teaser, I even went an tried Blender for the first time so I could model a wonky low-poly ship, WipEout style!
