Are you kidding? There is no game

Spamming WASD works best unfortunately

I absolutely love how game looks.

Making it in Pygame is definetly a chalenge, good job.

Ooh, I like how ball is animated, how did you do that?

I see the vision and understand why contoller is required (Analogue input via sticks on controller) but this is possible to achieve using mouse only.

Game is very very hard, balls are fast, they spawn fast, using controller for precision input is clunky especially if controller is low quality and has big dead zone.

the rest is good

I accidentally took #1 in leaderboard

I don't understand the difference between kicking the ball and not kicking the ball, when I kick and monster goes to the right I win, when I don't kick and monster goes to the right I also win which is weird, isn't it supposed to be like, opposite? like Kick: goes to left loose, goes to right win, Don't Kick: goes to left win, goes to right loose.

YOOO SOO MUCH FUN, spamming LMB and defeating knights is awesome

Use of a theme is very creative, nobody thought of making mimic-ball!

I love the style, wish those blood VFX worked

Sound is pretty good

Oi bruv, ahhahaha, I love that Aussie voice acting

I made referee blind

Game interrupts for power ups way too often and that makes pretty weird difficulty curve, instead of difficulty increasing, it deacreases. Gameplay needs a lot of work.

Fits theme quite well, leaderboard, soccer field, no goals nor ball itself but it's ok

Game has primitive style and this bloom (glow) effect looks like I forgot to clean my glasses (I HATE THIS EFFECT)

Sound side of the game is quite good, especially SFX.

I mean, online leaderboard is not obligatory but it adds a lot to competitiveness of a game, yknow, player wants to climb leaderboard and show off how good they are

woah, unusual choice, or should I say, unreal.
Unreal Engine is very rare on game jams and using older version of unreal engine makes it even more unbelievable

Gameplay is pretty fun one problem with it is double-press to trigger dash, It's too easy to do accidentally.

Suits theme quite good because of, well, ball, and leaderboard ofc.

I like those shaders, they add some eye candy, style is coherent.

SFX are pretty good, music choice is alright, could be better.

Good job on your first game!

Bro, who is going to play your game on android phone?

I don't think it's allowed to just put link to another website in itch io page, I'm not going to rate it

Lemme start from good things:

Art is awesome I like the way game looks, game looks and feels very polished, surprising for 3 day jam

Game sounds absolutely phenomenal, song is a banger

Gameplay is pretty statisfying and surprisingly long, like OMG 10 minutes of raw gameplay!

Now the bad things:

First of all, I see no soccer in this game nor the score incline

It's impossible to die which is a bad thing because game gets boring like 7 minutes in. (also it makes impossible to get really low scores).

Nobody is going to play 10 minutes all over again to get a bit better score, especially without online leaderboard.

WASD and Z are very weird controls, I think it's possible to remap them in game but default option could be better.

Wish metal balls were a bit easier to destroy, quite fun gameplay actually

No leaderboard, but goalie with a gun, which is awesome

Yet another game with inconsistent pixel art, look at goalie and at field, totally different pixel sizes!

No sound, bad.

Pretty good overall, needs some polish

too difficult, deserves more love

This is art!

Gameplay is quite engaging and fun (meemz lol), cheering mini game is my favorite

kinda suits theme, because all minigames are soccer related, I'm not sure if leaderboard works

Game looks quite good actually, style is coherent

sound is nonexistant which is a shame

This game deserves more love!

Gameplay is pretty engaging

Suits theme quite well
I looved this voxel style

Sound is a bit lacking

also, what engine you used?

Game has almost no gameplay, like 10 seconds of gameplay or 9 clicks.

This game literally has no score and no leaderboard, soccer relation is very very vague

Pixel art is not consistent, on controller and feet pixels are very small, on floor and tv pixels are huge.

SFX are alright, music is ok but there is not much use for it for 10 second game.

Hidden gem of a game!

Gameplay is very strategic and fun, I love this kind of games

Fits theme perfectly, except probably the leaderboard

Style is not complex but very coherent and good looking

Sounds exactly as it looks, very strategic-ish, cool

Aim is a bit clunky, I think aiming with mouse will work better.

Suits theme well, but no online leaderboard, and I've seen couple of soccer pong games.

Looks are not very pleasing, that gate is pretty cool, everything else is too contrasty and doesn't work as coherent style.

Music is cool, SFX are ok.

Well, there is no game which is a shame

Got #1 hehe.

Pretty fun and hard gameplay, reminded me of one of the bosses in Cuphead but endless

Fits theme very well

I like the the style but it's not coherent, UI and font are out of place

Sound is pretty good, music is a little bit missing the vibe of what's happening, but that is a nitpick

I spammed enter really fast and long, I think I've pressed "play" button few times before game even started

Controls are very weird, first of all, controlling camera with arrow keys is very unusual, and I think it's inverted.

Gameplay is solid, I don't really understand what makes me loose, but it was quite fun

Fits theme well yet no leaderboard.

Game looks awesome and style is coherent, best part of a game

Sound is alright, song suits to the vibe

Amazing use of a theme, unpolished execution

OMG, too much Adderall or too little, just do opposite of your dose pls :>

Gameplay feels fair and is a bit addicting.

Fits theme very well, we have soccer balls, gates, hitting the gates and a leaderboard

Visuals are more on a poor side, very high contrast, neon colors

Sound is ok but I don't know why colored balls spawn silently, a bit of a missed opportunity, love that violin fail SFX

OHHHH WHAT A SHOT!!!

It's so fun and goofy, I enjoyed just walking around, shooting blobs and damn this green goalie is sooo cute!!

Fits theme but no leaderboard sadly.

Game has very simple graphics but hey, it has it's own coherent style! Some free 3d models will make game worse IMO.

no music sadly but OHHHH WHAT A SHOT!!!

Spammin' bullets yee,

Gameplay is ok but no difficulty progression so it's getting boring quite fast.

Fits theme well, footbal but tanks, hehe, and leaderboard is here.

Looks ok, but very pixelated, I've tried in both firefox and chrome so it's not browser thing.

Sound is lacking, music is out of place and too little SFX.

Thanks for deep feedback!

That's what prototypes are for! To understand if it feels fair or fun or up to will of RNG god. I came to conclusion that this concept is pretty fun and with some potential, but needs a lot of fine-tuning and playtesting, not very suitable for 3 day long game jam.

Thank you for playing!

P.S.: I don't really like high-score games and prefer games with plot/levels/without permadeath, so I think S.O.C.C.E.R will fall to oblivion in my itch io page

I decomposed the index.pck file (godot puts everything in one file), code looks very tutorial/AI - ish. I don't think author will tell you anything really helpful.

Thanks for such a warm review and for playing ofc!

Not addicting enough, haha, nobody have beaten my highscore yet. Thanks for playing!

I find it a bit easier to play in non full-screen mode, yet I still should do some sort of overhaul for controls after voting
