Hey TheFrog!

I'm really happy you enjoyed the new intro :3

Right now, I’m working on character concepts and planning to revise the dialogues.
In the updated version, it will be Lilith – the Head of HR – who recruits the player in the intro.

The idea is to build a hellish corporation inspired by Christian mythology, with Satan as the CEO of HellCorp :3

In Level 2, the player will meet the full team: Beelzebub, Mammon, Asmodeus, Leviathan, Legion, Lilith, and Mephistopheles – each one managing a different department and having their own unique personality.

Thanks again for your feedback – it really helps me improve the game!

Hey TheFrog,

I just uploaded version 1.0.1 today — feel free to test it and let me know what you think! :3

Hey TheFrog,

Thank you so much for this really long and valuable comment! You gave me some great ideas on how to make the gameplay even more interesting. The idea of a “performance review” or pointless meetings especially made me laugh—immediately gave me The Office vibes, like when Michael Scott runs a meeting xD

As for the characters, I really like the idea that bosses could return later, or that maybe you can “spare” them after a fight—so players can get more attached to them. I’ll definitely think about how to weave that into the story, so that each character gets their moment to shine and leaves a mark.

Thanks again for the inspiration! I’ll let you know as soon as there are any updates or new versions to test.

Hey TheFrog :)

I'm really happy you enjoyed the gameplay! :3

Firewallius was actually meant to be a bit annoying—even his voice—so I guess that's working as intended xD But maybe I should tone it down a little. As for the emails, I'll check that again, because I thought they were already displaying properly when you change the language. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll make sure to test it more thoroughly.

Level 3 was supposed to give that feeling of frustration and like you're wasting your potential just clicking a button. I wanted it to push the player to fight for themselves, not to waste their potential, to take a risk and find a better way—even if it's in hell :3

About that moment before the autoclicker fight—good catch! I might add an email earlier on that hints there's someone who wants to help you, but you have to be careful not to raise Firewallius' suspicions. There are a lot of possibilities here, thanks for the idea!

As for the characters, I actually want to make a whole HellCorp team of bosses you'll have to defeat to get promoted. I want every boss fight to have its own unique style and vibe.

Thanks so much for this first feedback on my game! The project is just a little over a month old but I'm really putting my heart into it. Feedback like yours helps me a lot, so if you have any other ideas or want to test new versions, just let me know!

Cheers,

Hi! I’m working on a game called Hell Manager. I’ve just released a prototype (you can download it or play directly in your browser on itch.io). It’s an idle arcade management game where you become… the manager of hell, and your main goal is to find ways to get promoted!

Just like in any corporation, you start from the very bottom — as an intern clicker! Your main task? Reaping souls using a brilliant app called SoulCollector.exe, coded by the nerdiest demon programmers! 😈

Are you ready to click a single button for eternity, or is your soul too rebellious to obey?

Link to the game/demo: https://arakungamedev.itch.io/hell-manager (This is still a prototype, but I did my best to make the gameplay experience as enjoyable as possible for testing.)

I’d love to get your feedback — especially on:

  • Is the gameplay engaging from the very first minutes?
  • What do you think about the game’s atmosphere and humor?
  • Does the gameplay feel satisfying?
  • How do you find the interface (is everything clear and understandable)?
  • Any issues with interaction or something that feels confusing?
  • Is there anything you feel is missing or that would make the game better?

What’s included in this version:

  • Introduction
  • Level 1
  • Prototype boss fight!

I’d be extremely grateful for any comments and feedback! Thanks a lot and good luck with your own projects!
