You missed one of the secrets that you need to get the ending! The bird is super hungry so maybe you should feed him some more.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! I liked watching your playthrough!

I’m very happy to hear that! Thank you for playing the ending!

Thank you! It is a heron! I think it ended up with the best animations. I’m very proud of it!

Yes! Upgrades can be purchased from the bird. Mouse over the space behind the bird and the menu should appear!

Thank you so much, Hee-Hoo!

What if we got married?

It is here!

Play as the bayou fisher and seek out the secrets of the swamp! Feed the bird and buy upgrades from him. Fish deeper to find better fish! If you play it please let me know! Thank you!

I love that the player is an angler fish! And the art and atmosphere are very well done! I got lost at one point and couldn't find my house no mater how far right I swam! I think the swim speed could be a little faster, but I love the lure mechanic. It's very useful for looking around!

Thank you!

Thank you!

Thank you!

Of course! Your characters are yours!

Would I be able to showcase my artwork for the game in my portfolio? https://cara.app/shweesnaw

I don't have any phycological horror in my portfolio, but I like the aesthetic, and I have this creepy sheep girl I made awhile ago.

I'm really interested, but I feel like I only have so much time each week that I can dedicate to hobby projects. Will there be tight deadlines, or a more casual pace?

My portfolio is here https://cara.app/shweesnaw

I really like making pixel characters and I'm looking to learn more about making art for games!

Hi! I'm working on putting my portfolio together but it is here https://cara.app/shweesnaw

If I might be a good fit please let me know! :>

cute!

If you like my work please consider visiting my twitter about my game that I am making!

I lost a little bit of steam at the end, but I think this was fun to work on!

Thank you! That is a good idea!

It's been a busy month so I haven't had the chance to work on it everyday, but I wanted to share the wip! All of the layers are separate and I made two different body types. I worked in color but changed it to gray because I realized the colors can be modified in a game engine. I'm going to export each layer on separate sprite sheets, and I want to add some more hair and clothes options.

Here is a grayscale version of the other body type. I think it's easier to see everything in the colored mode, but I'm hoping the gray will lead to more customization. :>

Yes! Thank you so much!

Yippie! We made it!

Also! Should I focus on making them fill the whole 16x16, and should I start leaving 1 pixel of space between them? I'm still learning so I would be thankful for feedback! :>

Thank you so much!

Wait that is awesome! I love that so much! I'm for sure going to play it when you release it!

Thank you! I had to redo the waves a few times before I was happy with them, and since it took me so long to pick what I wanted to make I ended up not having time to make much else.

I really like the holographic effect on some of your icons! I relate to the hypothetical game line of thinking. I had no clue what to make for this one.

Congrats on #1 overall!  I love that you made the characters customizable!

Thank you!

I used the same workflow here for another portrait pack!

thank you! I do! And then I scale it down to 64x64 and clean it up. :>

Thank you!

Thank you so much!

Thank you! I wanted to do more expressions but I was on vacation and didn't have time!

I'm not super attached to beach theme! I will do more portraits but I am hoping to add some furniture and sprites to my next asset pack! I've only been here for asset jams #8 and #9, but they have been really fun so far! thank you for hosting!

Thank you! I have added the metadata!

Let me know if you use them! I would love to see what you make!

I use Pixaki on the iPad! There is a really good demo version.
Aseprite is really popular but I haven’t used it. I think it’s available here on itch.io and on steam.

I am very happy! I was on a trip so I just saw it!

Thank you!
