I had trouble figuring out that game at all.

Part of it was that I didn't realize you actually had to click and drag the handle, so even when I'd done it  right, when I clicked on the handle it didn't unlock.

The other thing that confused me was how little the wheel spun. It's so different than a real lock that I assumed I was doing something wrong.

Those two points of confusion combined to make me experimenting with the wrong things to make the puzzle work. I was sure I was screwing up the wheel somehow.

The Itch launcher has a sandbox mode you can turn on that supposedly protects against malicious or infected games.  I don't know how much that actually does.

At the very least, using the launcher stops Windows from popping up spurious warnings because the devs haven't paid for a certificate.

I would like to make a suggestion : Consider holding the upgrades until I've dropped a ball.  Getting an upgrade should be fun, but right now it feels like an annoying interruption. Like an advertising pop-up that I just want to clear as quick as possible so I can keep playing the game.

And I assume this is just for the demo, but please make sure the final version has a "skip tutorial" setting that actually turns off ALL tutorial popups.  Thank you.

Many pinball aficionados would also appreciate a vertical-screen mode, if that's not hard to manage.

A setting to speed up the game would be appreciated. 

I'm ten levels in and I feel like the main game is watching confetti and watching bars fill up, and watching congratulations messages slide in.  In between I get to do a quick chess puzzle.

You should try the other way.  Try to get them to help you do a limited edition physical release available on cassette and 5.25 floppy.

It would be nice if the creator's dashboard gave some indication of what's going on.

Wouldn't matter if it was just a couple hours, but since "weeks" is the norm for new creators, some hint that it's not broken would really be appreciated.

If you pick up the endpages before you need them, there's no obvious way to put them back down.  The game soft-locks.

Amazing.  But you just know they'd use screenshots from the Windows version on the back of the box.

You need to set the platform for the download, or the Itch launcher will just say "Game is Not Available".

This game is a little like Blackjack in that it can be useful to keep track of what's left in the deck.   Except, unlike blackjack, all the spent cards are left face-up on the table, so card-counting is just regular counting.

A hard mode where spent cards are removed might be interesting.

I think both players may use the crowbar as soon as they get it, but all other items wait until the next turn.

I'm glad this goes with a Game&Watch-ish aesthetic and not the Tiger aesthetic.  Somehow the Tiger games were always a disappointment.

When you upload a file, you need to select "executable" from the dropdown list, and tick the checkbox for the platform.    Otherwise the Itch.io launcher can't find it.

The Itch launcher thinks there's no windows compatible build.

Is it just me or does the launcher's search bar work in a REALLY weird way?
When I type something into a search bar and hit enter, and there's more than one result, I expect to be sent to a list of those results.   Instead I'm sent to a single result, chosen seemingly at random.

Itch has so many games, that even if you know the EXACT name of the product you're looking for, often typing it into a the search bar takes you off on a magical journey of disappointment.

Why doesn't it just work like every other search bar in the universe?

(Yes, I know you can hover your mouse over it and get a tiny scrolling list, but that's very fiddly to use, and not very intuitive. And frustrating if you want to click on more than one search result, which I often do. )
