thank you lol!

Thank you for the input! Yeah, it's very short right now. I have some ideas as to how that can be improved, will implement that later hopefully!

all of your tracks are so good wth!

I would give up my agency to a brainworm if it meant no job /j

Dear BlueDash and Coffee,

I trust this message finds you both in good health and high spirits.

For a period of 6 years at this point, I have awaited *that* GoodbyePage update. Over the years, I have submitted numerous letters to your post boxes. I have also tried following you on the streets and asking for the update directly, although i have stopped the attempts following that regrettable incident involving you throwing rocks at me. However, I want you to know - I need you to know - that I am still waiting.

This is my final message. I ask you kindly to release the Gun update, allowing me the pleasure of shooting at geometry forms. I respectfully request that this feature be implemented within one week of you receiving this message..

In exchange for your cooperation, I shall continue to promote your game within my facebook group chat comprising of myself and 3 elderly ladies. Should this request go unfulfilled, however, I must inform you that December 14th, 2026, will mark the swift and sorrowful conclusion of your life upon this sphere we call Earth.

With utmost admiration and loyalty,

Temi

PEAK PEAK PEAK

good job tinycritter!!

I loved this in the jam, and I'm still not over it
Great game

HELLO PAGE

GOOD GAME EVERYONE GO PLAY IT

Omg thank you for making a video about it!

If I weren't so burned out from rating dozens of submissions I would've written a 300-word essay on why this is one of the best games in this jam but. You'll just have to do with "it's peak" now, sorry

The music is great, the art is great, the characters are awesome

This is so well made! To have 3 different enemy types, many unique environments and wrap thatall in an interesting concept in 7 days is impressive to say the least

The moment I saw the mannequin I went "is this a coilhead" and of course it was LOL Definitely spooked me a little, considering they make no noise

I'm not exactly a fan of RPGmaker genre of games so when it comes down to playing one, the writing/story/narrative is the pushing force that drives me to try it. It has to be REALLY good

In your game, this aspect could do with some work... You clearly have imagination for creating a narrative, but you need to polish the writing - by fixing the gramatical errors and awkward sentences first and foremost, but also by simply writing more stuff so you eventually accumulate skill and become proficient in it!

Others mentioned default RPGMaker assets, personally I find no issue in using assets in general, but in this case some of the assets didn't make much sense in the context of the game. The first thing that comes to mind is the fact that your thumbnail depicts a sort of eastern european medieval hut, while the game itself is set in a large, victorian-era-esque manor. There are more things but I'm sure you're aware of them at this point lol

But! You DID make this alone in just 7 days, and I think that's impressive on its own! Keep on gamedevving

Hotline Miami but the flesh is hungry and the body is weak

I like the idea of no savepoints but personally I got too frustrated after not having enough time to reload and dying... A good game concept though! Also idk if the compression artefacts in the soundtrack were intentional but I liked them... Crunchy noises

insert "wife material"/"i can fix her" joke

What a cool concept! I definitely want to see this in its full potential (hopefully with some soundtrack...)

Neat little game, reminded me of warioware :3I like the artstyle, messyand cartoonish, but very soulful (edit: I thought soulful meant "with a soul", not sorrowful LOL)

The actual minigames could do with a little more explanation, especially the keychain one, and there are some bugs, but overall, I liked it!

This is one of the most realistic depictions of online social interactions I've ever seen in a media. I know these people, I see them in my own DMs every single day, and I am also one of them. It's like I got transported back in time to my own forum days. This felt so immersive. It's great

Visuals are amazing, reminded me of Va-11hall-a. The option to change/combine music tracks is such a neat little detail

Will be waiting for the updated version for sure

The monster design is awesome... The visuals in general are great

I really like the idea of having to die to progress through the game, neat concept! The endings are very unclear, though. I feel like I was just clicking on items and suddenly, I win lol

I feel like you have a great precedent for a larger story/game, would definitely be interested in some sort of continuation

The cemetary environment is beautiful! I know there are a lot of low-poly PSX style games out there but for some reason this one in particular reminded me of actual retro games...

I liked the idea of only being able to go forward, it constraints the player and makes them feel... claustrophobic? (especially when there's a guy following you lol), while also making the whole experience seem like some sort of an amusement ride lol

Stunning, one of the best games I've played this jam visual-wise. Was a little confused with the game mechanic of jumping around the maze, but to be fair I did not read the description LOL

Very good. Short yet sweet

Sorry LOL it's a quote from Jerma (a streamer!) who was playing Ultrakill and got overwhelmed. I feel like it fit with the fast-paced gameplay of your game

(here's the video i was referencing)

Currently unfinished, it's still a very great VN! The premise is interesting, clearly the person writing the script knows their plants (knows someone who knows their plants lol).

The character is weirdly well written, like, I resonated with MCs thought processes so much LOL

Looking forward to the full version!

Such a unique game idea lol, I love the dithering+monochrome palette, reminded me of Who's Lila. I couldn't figure out how to catch the "thing", though... I know it said "right" and "higher" so I thought maybe there's something outside the lockers in the right upper corner (like, there's a way to go out of locker bounds if you keep mashing the button), but no... Otherwise, very very cool

Even though I could not at all figure out what insence to make and died (so bad at my job that i had a heart attack lol) I'm rating this very high and will definitely try again when I have some time.

I do want to say though that the ingredient descriptions are a little bit too hazy/cryptic... The art is gorgeous though

Really wanted to play this one but it's lagging so hard on my low-end laptop T_T even though it looks like it shouldn't be hard on hardware at all...

"No humans are supposed to be doing this. You know what ******* humans are supposed to be doing? Humans are supposed to be ******* picking up like a wheelbarrow full of, like, logs and just like, slowly walking with it- you- and then and delivering those logs to the like to the community, and then like those logs are used to build houses. And then there's also like a baker, and like a butcher, and... no humans are supposed to be doing what we're doing right now. Humans aren't supposed to be doing this! Like, we're supposed to be like: 'Oh howdy, how are you? Good to see ya!' We're not supposed to be like: 'Gugguda gugguda gu gu gugguga gu guguda!'"

Certified overwhelmment simulator. I liked styling on enemies and doing 360s

As a certified daydreamer-whos-dreams-turn-into-nightmares myself I approve of this heavily

Awesome visuals and soundtrack! I'm not a big fan of these turn-based RPGs (even though my nickname is literally based off Temmie from Undertale) but this one was carried by the story

Very nice game aesthetically, but no so nice gameplay-wise... I did play it in web, though, which hindered the performance quite a bit, but even then - the camera movement and the flashlight's small field of view made it really hard to navigate around, especially on the upper level of the library where my screen was pitch black most of the time from how the camera behaves
Also, game doesn't account for the player progression as far as I can tell, because moving from room to room would reset the items and NPCs in it... or at least I think it does. In any case, I missed the dialogue of the kid about a second book (?) and could not figure out what to do next. A little more polish/fixes though and it could be good!

I knew it was coming, I knew it was coming and still nearly fell out of my chair

Oh I loved it. The realistic animations blended in with a little arcade-y style of the game... Also, whoever was making the OST did NOT have to go this fucking hard, omg

(1 edit)

It's an interesting idea, but I for the life of me could not figure out how the bird gas detection worked LOL
But if you polish the bird mechanic I think this game can be really good!

I kept dying in the room with rats, and every time the bird would cry out in a different frequency. At the start I thought chirping = gas, but I guess not...

And also, when I respawned, I lost the key that I brought with me from the previous level, and I don't think I can get further without it, since there's 2 doors on the rat level...

This game is good. It would've been incredible with just a little more help - not with the puzzles, I think those are simple enough - but with the directions and mechanics. I found myself walking from a room to room for solid 15 minutes before I realized I could ring a bell with C (and that I had an inventory lol), and another 10 minutes right at the end, when you go to the birthroom.

But otherwise, very solid. The fact that it utilizes a first person perspective in an RPGMaker is fascinating to me (I don't have any experience with RPGMaker though, so maybe it's easy to do...)

The sound design is great. For a while I was thinking the little keyboard press noises were a music track LOL
The whole thing reminded me of Petscop for some reason. Maybe it's the dialogue box font...

I hope we all can fulfill our wishes

Wonderful little experience

This is so well made for a one-week jam, and even though it got kinda boring walking around from room to room at the end, I'd still rate it very high. The visuals are insane, I have no idea how you made these shaders lol

I couldn't understand how the monster worked. It seemed to just teleport in close proximity to me, but not actually pursue or anything, so I didn't feel compelled to hide or even run away... Looking at it made the screen go muddy, which is a cool visual, but much like in Amnesia for me, it made the game hard to play lol

A good small horror arcade!

The microphone mechanic is unique, but I feel like it hinders the game's popularity a bit.

Also, would be cool to have some sort of objective in the levels besides just leaving on the next elevator. But otherwise, it's fun!

Hi! Yeah, that happens with all the executable files that are not in the Microsoft system afaik. There are ways to fix that, but it will take a while, and I'm currently working on other projects, so...

You can try the web build (even though it's laggy and I wouldn't recommend it lol), or trust the people who played it already (I don't know if you can see the gamejam page, but there's 30 ratings in there).

Thank you! Yeah, the actual gameplay of it all could've been executed better, but I'm glad you liked the atmosphere :3

(1 edit)

I liked this one a lot! It's simple yet it's one of the scariest games from this jam so far

I really dig the Amnesia item/door mechanics, and visually the game is great

OH, and the sound design is crazy. So many little noises, drones, deep bases jumbled around, made me paranoid even when there was no monster around lol
