Don Taco was gone for a long long time and is pretty famous among his fans for never really finishing his games. Rumors swirl around why. From severe ADD to dev cohesion issues, to taking on too much at once, to IRL work priorities, to relationship problems, to Game Engine issues.
Point is, who cares why. He is back as of this month!
He is currently working on "Small Complex". He may of may not come back to this one, but the rumor I heard was that he might just put all his characters into the big world he is creating in Small Complex. If you want more, check out his new updates on that game. No real timeline, but he says he is working on it.
Don Taco is actually quite famous around here for starting projects but never finishing them. Everybody mourns this fact because the guy has real talent and a unique style almost everyone loves. As far as I know, according to the rumors in his discord, he ran into all kinds of problems while trying to take on too many projects at once. "The Tacoverse Tales"..... "BigLong Complex"..... "Small Complex"... He also had engine issues. So now, he seems to be concentrating on Small Complex now that he is back after a huge hiatus. And if rumor holds, he will be incorporating all/most of these characters from his games into "Small Complex". He might finish this one next, but with the Taco, there are no guarantees.
I agree with every last thing you said, other than the trope issues you have with the game. I think that the whole "taboo incest fetish" thing isnt going anywhere. It is still a hugely popular fetish and i think many devs and authors should continue implementing it. Not all porn game fetishes need to be brand new, unique and innovative. In fact, I find it better when the fetishes are widespread, but remain the same tags they've always been. Personally I find the whole "roommates/landlord" thing annoying af. Either have the balls to go with what you meant for it to be, or create a completely different scenario. (Although I understand why these days with Itchio cracking down on some fetishes like that due to retarded legal bullshit...)
You ARE right, however when it comes to flow, context and consistency... The author needs to clean that up, as it was obviously meant to be a taboo incest game, but they cleaned it up (horribly) for some reason. As far as the grammar, they should get someone that can translate (if thats what they did) into english much much better. Or at least write the language fluently and eloquently instead of making it sound like a third grader wrote this.
But other than that, I completely agree with everything else. And I also quite enjoyed the game. This site definitely has much worse out there...

Unfortunately, no. No mods. No decompilations. No translations. No walkthroughs. It is exactly as I downloaded it from here. Although, I will admit the possibility that might just be my PC? I have a pretty high end PC, not the best, but pretty up there... though and have no idea what would be causing it if that were the case.

I retract my previous statement though. It might not be the buggiest. I recently tried playing another game called "Hypnosis" and had the same issue but much much worse. Every 2 to 5 clicks was a ren'py error rollback screen. Now that I bring that up, I DID notice that the issue stopped once I stopped playing the 64 bit version of the game and started playing the 32 bit version instead.... That is the only extra piece of info I have. I hope it helps! ^_^

Pubic hair protects against naturally occurring STI's if you left your vag flapping in the wind... which we no longer do since the caveman days. If it is sexually transmitted, pubic hair doesnt do shiiiit to prevent it... which, by the way, is what a porn game is all about.
Vaginal hygiene might no be on display or as obvious as other things, but we knew enough girls in high school that you could SMELL were not hygienic there and it was more than obvious. I am so split on this game.
On one hand it is a truly GREAT game to play. Writing is awesome, love the choices that matter. But it is one of THE BUGGIEST GAMES I've played on here!!! I get Ren'py Rollback errors every 3-15 clicks of the mouse! :(( So this issue makes the game sometimes unplayable especially when going through a long sequence on the phone and it restarts the entire phone interaction like 20 times. Restarting the game does nothing to fix the issue. T_T

Might be just me, but..... I find the controls so horrible to use, especially since I am a controller kind of player to these kinds of games... not WASD. I would LOVE LOVE LOOVE to see (controller and pc) button mapping in future versions of the game so that playing could feel much more fluid and playable. As of right now, I seriously WANT to like this game, but I cant because I cant get anywhere with it. >_<;

As it has been mentioned before, this game is one of those few that has GREAT potential.
But as of right now, in the Alpha, it is, as most games are at this stage, pretty shit. Especially in balance, UI, foresight and model practicality.
This does NOT overshadow its amazing potential tho. I see some definite (and pretty obvious) areas for improvement.
Notes/Suggestions:
---THE MODELS AND MODEL PHYSICS/OPTIONS. The models are cute. But they lack a real "sexiness" to them and I think, given all the bugginess, clipping issues and aliasing issues, they honestly need a re-work. The animations should be smoother and more natural. Right now they have all the appeal of clay dolls. Their asses keep sinking in/disappearing, the models themselves could use a bit more realism. The options for modifying/customizing/personalizing the models are awesome... but also visually horrible in some cases. In some instances, the changes seem to be almost non-existent when compared to another modification... like the butt sizes, puffy nipples, eye shapes, voice options, breast sizes... (A big one for me, as the biggest you seem to be able to go is pretty much a D cup and would like at least go up to G's. lol The entire point of options is for option to be noticeably different from each other and some of the options look far too similar to claim that.). The builds are a bit disturbing too, as the muscle model for females are the same as males. Good, if you're Bi or into serious male-looking "muscle mommy's", but not good if you like lean, firm muscular builds that make a woman appear tight, toned and only somewhat muscular, without looking like a GUY....not so great. Love the options for vag types (innie, outie, pubes, no pubes, etc), that was a very good option set and attention to detail. Not that it matter too much as there are no ways to ENJOY said features as you cant see those options in action with the only exceptions being lean forward/bend over options. (As such, needs an option for guys, too. Dick size/thickness... other than small to medium. Some of us like to watch a pussy STRETCH.) The minimum flat-chested boobs look almost concave... the nipples too close together and the chest seeming as though it falls INTO the chest. Also looks weird around the armpit area. Basically the chest stays very large while the boobs shrink... making for a very awkward looking abdomen/chest. I think there needs to be a setting to change overall chest size as well. The nipples also stay the same size when lowering or increasing boob size... which is a tad off-putting, if not me being too concise about details... But this COULD be fixed with a potion, I suppose... but none of which, still doesn't really look natural on small chests. On the opposite side of the spectrum, the maximum large boobs setting seems almost average to me. (Aside from "Bolt On boobs" which has me wondering....wtf ARE BOLT ON boobs anyway??? O_o???) Boobs need bigger options, nipple also need bigger AND smaller options, puffy nips ACTUALLY need to be PUFFY...Large areolas need to go up to maybe almost the size of your palm, small areolas to maybe the size of a nickel. ) Nipple colors need to be a changeable thing too, as some dont quite match the skin tone or at the VERY least, dont give very many mix and match options for uniqueness. More eye colors and hair colors would be awesome too. Perhaps the addition of a COLOR WHEEL and Hair Color Change potion to access it?? This would cut down on the item clutter and ingredients needed. Also maybe the addition of catgirls, foxgirls and cowgirls? (You know... the old school originals. ;P ) Maybe Harpies and Goblins (Not hobgoblins, but real, small bodied, 3 foot shortstacks....) and as such, the ability to change the size (height) of the person/model without further breaking the sex scene physics/angles/etc.
---BATTLE HIT BOX FAILURE. This one can be quite game breaking. SOMETIMES, and I have yet to determine the reason... whether it is clothing, armor, room, room type, race type, or something else altogether, there comes a time when you just CANNOT TARGET your enemy during battle. The red dot that you use to target a specific area, DOES NOT APPEAR and you cannot click on their body! So you lose your battles unless you have a shitload of NAIL BOMBS or POISON BOMBS or the like, in your inventory. DEFINITELY needs to be fixed ASAP.
---Balance. The game balance starts off pretty ok, but gradually gets worse. You and the enemies can pretty much one-shot each other by Lvl 20. (They get like 5 devastating shots at you during ONE turn and makes the battle about who can one shot the other first, and ejects all the other "sexy" or 'over time' options {like poison} out of the battle.) The sexy battle options are wasted because you either have to have this early in the game, risk being one-shotted mid-game, or hope and pray that you get enough *stun* cards in order to even enjoy a bit of sexy fun during the battle. I think a re-tweak of attack/defense/armor multipliers and buffs/debuffs might make both characters balanced enough to last for any kinky battles. Also, the weapons need a bit of variation/more options (as far as stats go). Weapons have an ok variety of visuals, but not very practical imaginative or creative array of stats and buffs/debuffs/status effects, especially if a DEF/ARMOR/BATTLE tweak may be in the works.
---ROOMS. First things first, we need to be able to SHAPE our kingdom/castle. To do so, we need the ability to FIX our mistakes. Namely, when we add a room or room type that we did not want/do not want any longer/want to change later. So the addition of a ROOM DELETE option so long as the rest of the castle is still connected to the entrance, is necessary. On the same note, a, EMPTY ROOM option also needs to be added to make hallways or simply rooms where nothing is required, but looks good as empty space. Also, maybe the addition of assigned rooms/sleep/dormitories/barracks maybe? Unsure about that suggestion. The room effects are awesome, but too random imo. Perhaps add the ability to change the room's/space's buffs/debuffs at some sort of a cost or price or challenge? Also need a more obvious way to see the room's effects. Took me hours before I figured out why my gold mine wasn't producing any gold.
---The UI. The User Interface for this game can be a bit confusing and convoluted at first. You get the hang of it the more you play, but most people don't have the patience or the care to take the time to learn a cluttered UI and weirdly situated menus. Maybe simplify things a bit further into drop down categories? Also, the characters should be clickable, in my opinion. Not just found in a menu list, but clickable on the map in order to change anything about them. Maybe even drag and drop to the rooms you want them in.
---Effects. The moaning seems glitched and can happen when you aren't doing anything to anyone. I have a theory it may be some of your other servants getting pleasured/pleasuring themselves while you are in the menu tweaking another servant. So the sounds carry over from the castle map to the single room you may be in tending to one of your servants. A bit off-putting. The ejaculation action is glitched as well. Your spray, as male character seems to go THROUGH a female rather than inside her. lol This can make for some pretty funny scenes, but I'm guessing "funny" isn't the point or aim for this game. lol The ejaculate also seems....idk.... cheap. Like mercury bubbles instead of actual cum. I'm thinking its the engine you are using, so idk if this will be fixable without using another engine to design this game. But still a noticeable 'issue'. On that subject I think a girl should squirt, or have the option of squirting, too, during an orgasm. Lactation too, while pregnant, maybe. The option of anal. This may be way down the line, but maybe add noticeable swordstrike/weapon strike effects? Slice animations, blunt impact animations, etc. Maybe even weapon TYPES? Slashing, blunt, piercing, etc.
EDIT: THIS WAS THE CASE. You can still hear other servants getting each other off in the castle map while in a scene with a singular person.
And this....as of now, is all I can think of. I may edit some more in later, but for now, this is the extent of what I can remember offhand. I know some reviews can SOUND harsh, but believe me, if a game is just utter trash, no one would ever take the time to review it in such detail and with such meticulousness. I've seen many here believing in you, the author and dev... and seems solid enough to have great potential, as is said many times. So please keep up the good work and hone your skills until they are sharp enough to make an imp bleed. ^_^ lol

This is a very underrated review. I also agree without everything except the limiting to human aspect of your first servant. On that aspect, I would mostly agree with Mydnyght's review from there. Only, I think one should be able to CHOOSE your own first 2 servants. The servants that will be your confidants, (favorites?) ...and your go-to's for the rest of the game. They are the ones that were watching over you willingly this entire time, after all.
