Haha thank you for this it made my day! Thanks for checking out our "game". I see it more and more like a little experience than actual gameplay because there´s really none. Because we were only two persons making this in a week the time was simply not on our side! Like the credits for instance i added it to a already complete UI-scene which i never saved in Illustrator so i had to be creative with it putting it below "quit" because i didnt had time editing in PS. I agree with you on all points lol! I also agree about the order you suggested which is Start, Options in the top and Quit in the absolute bottom.

Man i laughed hard when you exposed typos, i was myself hoping that nobody would expose "byt" and you did it on stream. English is not our first language. When you didnt figure out to put stones in the cart it hurt my brain and it was a big relief when you finally did. I was hoping for a comment on the second track i made for the second ruin but im glad you noticed and commented the first one.

Best comment: "Is this historically accurate??"

Ill be sure to check out your stream.

Shout out to leida who did an awesome job programming and putting colliders on all my shit, especially the spiral stairs. Shout out to the host of this GameJam, he is a 14 year old kid interested in history and programming. Faith in humanity restored.

Thanks for liking it :)

Unfortunately my units didnt move so Italy was just stuffed with units attacked by the Barbarians but i enjoyed the physics of units pushing eachother, the accuracy of the map with corresponding names and the music.

Nice song! hard game, beautiful art in the background :)

This felt like a polished little game, first i didnt like the countdown but then i did. I finished and completed the game but that was also because i quickly realized the mechanics and stopped reading the whole sentences and instead offered high parameters to balance out low parameters until the game was done. Well done with the game! Nice to leave credits for the music aswell.

I played it and never ran out of people to send to my last garrisson so i could spam it until i got tired. Appreciate the 3d-graphics and also the animated characters. I think youre the only game with 3d-animated characters.

Its a cozy simple game and this:

Was not a good strategy.

Im happy you liked my music! And i agree on your criticism haha its more like a little experience than gameplay really i guess.

Thanks for liking my art and music :)

Thank you and i agree! if we had more time or develop the game further we should make it abit more clear on what to do :)

And thanks for liking my music!

This was very funny! and it goes under "Educational" which i think it is. Very easy to understand, very educational! i learned three new things today! Good job!

Block and hit afterwards! This game is polished, it has nice transitions and feels logic and easy to understand, very pedagogic.

5 stars for historically accurate! was very impressed by the music, the research and the humor, it was fun to play! i finished the game, i had most problems with the paint him in blood-level but ultimately made it!

Loved the music, the voiceacting, i had to read the tutorial on the submission page a couple of times and then i was pillaging!

Also loved the comments on the submissionpage, i totally agree with them! I gave it a strong 4 for overall rating!

Great game, very hard which is a good thing, stunning retrographics! It was perhaps not about the fall of the Roman Empire so much but still a nice gem. Great job!

Hello everybody my name is Andreas and im a swedish gamegraphicteacher joining jams to expand my knowledge and ultimately aiming to urge my students to join jams next fall. I currently have my eyes on Historically Accurate Game Jam https://itch.io/jam/historically-accurate that blasts off in some days.  Its a great timeframe for me due to holidays. Im open minded to other jams too. I also have some experience in animation.

Im looking for a team or a programmer.

Sounds interesting?  Ive contributed to a jam recently and down below you can see my work.
