How did you export your game? i had trouple uploading my godot project on itch.

(1 edit)

Aaaahh. Why? This is brutal!

Jokes aside it's a really simple and short game, I like the concept.

The game was super duper easy to understand when I started, and I made the mistake of not buying anything in the shop to defeat the last level but it is a really good concept for an official game.

Since you used godot, may you please tell me how you exported your game and if you don't mind, how you made your game in 2 DAYS too!! (I ask this bcoz I totally failed my game :(  i'm just looking for fellow godot users for advice)

I am a bit lost as to how to play.

Woah XD. Thats amazing. I never thought of gameplay that way.

I also took the entire first day brainstorming and had like 14-ish ideas.

I mixwd two at the end for my final idea but I think scope creep got the better of me (Originally the idea was like a an arcade tower and you had to lose games to go from the top all the way down to level 0 (The leveling system wasnt logical) then I switched to a leaderboard style (each of the 5 games has a leaderboard and you have to get to the bottom)). I didn't have enough time making all the 5 games nor did I have the time to polish the 2 that went.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot godot upload problems (exportation and uploading on itch0?

Thank you

Oh that's sad.

But you still made a really good game. If you don't mind, could you give me a brief summary on your thought process and how you did stuff so I can do better on the next jam (my idea was decent but I couldn't put everything in time)

I love the humor in some of the messages.

For a puzzle game made in 4 days, this is really good!

I'm having trouble pressing "Tutorial" or "Start"

Oh really! Thanks!

btw u used Godot right?

I had a hard time using the grabbling hook

I was able to get to Collosal Rank!

I really like the game, gave me jsab vibes

for me the difficulty was very well balanced

Whatt do you mean by "host"?

Yes I did

Yeah thanks.

In fact, I wasn't able to put the timer nor all the minigames but even though. I tried posting.

The godot exportation to itch just didn't work. :(

It took me a while to find out how to control the main clock's hand, but after that I dominated the levels.

I didn't fully understand what the upgrades did nor how many points each tile gave tho.

I liked the "Streak's the name and speed's the game" too.

It took me a while to get used to the speed (I thought it was a bug at first), but when I understood it clicked.
I liked the difficulty but the speed was too much for me to actually know where to land, I guessed sometimes.
I was able to complete the first 2 levels. Sadly, I fell through the world on the 3rd level and was never able to respawn (even when the timer hit 0).
I like the story too. You guys didn't make the slideshow too long.

it's ok. I'll see how to do it next time ;)

Do you know why it is doing that tho?

Thanks for trying.

My only problem was exportation to itch. Do you perhaps use godot like me too?

Thank you very much.

For your first jam game, this is really excellent.

I was suprised when you said that.

My best score is 39.
