Oh that's sad.
But you still made a really good game. If you don't mind, could you give me a brief summary on your thought process and how you did stuff so I can do better on the next jam (my idea was decent but I couldn't put everything in time)
i wouldnt lie i was thinking alots for a good idea more then 10+ ideas until the 3rd day i started the game play and in day one and 2 i was just drawing ranks and movement and credit and i was getting help with my uncle like some advices in the game jam bc he is working actually in a big studio video game in the start i make steps like to know what to do but i just take time to think about the game play to be good like my uncle says :
"Remember gameplay is king, if game is fun people will play"
i finish the game before 15 to 10 hours i just dididnt understand i need to submit it to the game jam i just in last 5 min i check and i undersrand i didndt SUBMIT I Was stressed
Woah XD. Thats amazing. I never thought of gameplay that way.
I also took the entire first day brainstorming and had like 14-ish ideas.
I mixwd two at the end for my final idea but I think scope creep got the better of me (Originally the idea was like a an arcade tower and you had to lose games to go from the top all the way down to level 0 (The leveling system wasnt logical) then I switched to a leaderboard style (each of the 5 games has a leaderboard and you have to get to the bottom)). I didn't have enough time making all the 5 games nor did I have the time to polish the 2 that went.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
i think if the game was publish and have no problem i think really u will have more ratings then me i like the game idea and the core loop i understand the only think i think if u dindt switch i think u try to solve problem even if its take time i will not lie is take all day to make a ranking system and its np to share my experience :D
