Hi! I use Musescore. Is a open and free program for score editing, that have, recently, a VST (virtual isntrument) compatibility. You can use the mixer (in the program) to change the isntruments like a DAW, even the function do add delays, rotary, reverb, effects, compressors and so on, but instead of blocks, you have the tradicional writing and, if You compose contemporary pieces, You can customize almost everything. I use it in most of my works today, even the professional ones, since the mixer function is, in terms of sound, the same quality of a DAW. But You can, too, make midi files and pass to a DAW, I make this in musics that have some daily life sounds because I'm studing how to add sound's of records, for example, in pitch function in musescore yet, but I think they're seeing it for future releases. And You have to pass to a DAW in case of loop (I pass the mp3, ogg or wav file to FMOD (when with a dev) or Audacity (when to promote my work and for general download)

I search to team up to create  more portfolio. I'm on gamedev Jam right now and the next is GDevelop. See my work on Itch or Youtube; you can download for free to: Andorios - itch.io  / Andorios - YouTube

There are more than 60 musics that I created either for Jams, either for show my skills and are not legally attached to any brand or game, so YOU CAN USE AS YOU LIKE. Many are RPG because I love RPG (but played all types of games in my life, when i had the chance... Good times... But better now that I have the know how to compose for them!)  Enjoy! And visit Youtube if You want to see for yourself my production, or my social medias to contact or see some scores (I save scores to show that my work is original).

How I work: I can either participate the project ideia since the brainstorm (I have some knowledge in Godot and FMOD-Unity to implant sound/music, so I will not give exaggerated ideas); or You can leave all the Sound Design direction to me; or You can give me references of any type in any format to show your vision/direction (we can also blend styles and references); or Have other ways? Lets go for it and create nice game(s).

We can use Discord. Mine is andorios1074 - So we can have more freedom to do things, like share images, screen, talk in chat and in voice and screenshare (I accept videos, images and so on; and a raw game file to - raw in the sense of no music and no sound effects).
