Aiming with mouse was planned. Same goes for larger maps, enemy towers, levels, maybe even an infinite mode. But 48 hours… You know…

This is awesome! I spent so much time in this.
I’m just wondering: Do some opponents explode if I kill them with a flamethrower? And do knifes somehow deal damage to myself?
Because I can basically go infinite if I have enough maces, as long as I repair them. But if I use Flamethrowers, I sometime loose life. And if I use a lot of knifes, my life just constantly goes down.
So… maceception it is. I’m just wondering, if this is intentional.
This is addictive. It’s my personal favorite of the jam.
My only idea: The high-score needs more complexity.
I suggest, it should be based on: time survived
- amount of blocks currently on the platform
- time the king was moved
Just going for time in this game isn’t really satisfying, because you can always take the king and evade the projectiles. But by adding the few restrictions above, it becomes REALLY fun.
Also, a minor problem: often, when the enemy brings in a fire ball, there hasn’t been an Ice block yet, to defend against it. Over all, too few Ice blocks.
Just some questions regarding international audience. I understand, that this is still relatively early stage and things might come in the future. I also understand that this is’t designed with an international audience as a goal yet.
Although I ordered the printed version, we will have to get extra sets of character sheets printed sooner or later. The international standard printing format A4 would be really helpful for that.
Although most players at my table are comfortable with english material, sometimes untranslated character sheets lead to confusion, because some players misunderstand a specific word or two. Some players also feel slightly uncomfortable to play with english material. It makes sense for the CBR+PNK world to use lots of anglicisms, but explanations could use translation. Especially on short character sheets I (as a GM) sometimes edit the PDF to provide translated versions to my players. Are you thinking about providing a platform (e.g. Discord and/or Google Drive) for GMs to share their fan translations with each other?
