Hey everyone,
SketchBrawl is a hand-drawn tactical auto-battler where you draft units, build a roster, and watch your army fight. Think chess meets auto-chess, with sketchy pixel art and six wildly different factions.
I just pushed v0.2.0-alpha and I'm looking for people to actually play it and tell me what feels broken, unfun, or confusing.
What's new in this build:
- Faction select redesign — full-screen with faction art backgrounds
- 3/6/9 unit promotion system (stack identical units to level them up)
- Biome backgrounds for each battlefield
- Arena AI opponents with distinct profiles
- Loading screen + preloaded assets (less flickering)
What I want feedback on:
- Does the faction select feel clear? Do you understand what you're picking?
- Do the promotion rules (3→Tier 2, 6→Tier 3, 9→Legendary) make sense in play?
- Which faction felt most fun / most broken?
- Anything that confused you in the first 2 minutes?
