Radiotext 20 Minute Demo Playable Here
Radiotext
is an interactive story set in the near future, where communication without intrusion requires transmission through radio-waves. It is similar to the game Emily is Away but instead of randomly pressing after choosing your option, you need to type your answers.

In a world where corporates and governments squeeze people for the desires of the rich, opposing people have to rebel from the old corners of the long forgotten radio networks. In order to be able to finish the demo, I've limited myself with 3 characters and 20-30 min playtime, thus the demo right now only has 1 ending, but alternative paths to get there. I plan to update the amount of characters and mechanics each month and plan to keep these updates free/playable from the web until full-release.

I love this game, so addicting!

Hey, thanks a lot! What a wonderful comment. Now I'm gonna walk around with a smile this whole day :)

In Godot you can put something called a Physical Key, which works with the position of the key. When you set "Alt" as the input needed, it automatically looks for "Alt" or "Option" key press. Is there something like this in Unity perhaps to make it a bit easier for you?

Beautiful art, well done.

Truly awesome game! Loved the atmosphere, mini games and all the interactables. The electrical noise coming while dragging the cable (as player fixes the parts in place) was so good. Also what a great name for a game. Do you people plan on continuing on this afterwards the jam?

Very engaging and addicting game. Loved it. Theme is well fitted inside as well, it is not just any mechanic named reset but rather really resets the whole level.

I would've liked to have an option for sound level but other than that it was a cool game. Grappling mechanic is fun.

Great graphics and a solid gameplay, well done.

Might be so fun on the dance pad I agree!

I loved the pixel art character very much!

This was so stressful, I am exhausted and overwhelmed! Real average internet experience, 10/10.

Also I couldn't zoom out (perhaps due being on a macbook and not having an Alt Key) so wasn't able to close some ads.  Couldn't see the left side guidance as well.

This was a beautiful game, I really enjoyed it. I couldn't see the last message appearing on the screen though, it was cut after "human". There wasn't a fullscreen button, do you think that might solve it?

Thank you <3

Thanks a lot for the kind words and taking your time to rate. Much appreciated.

This time it opened! I am glad to try and help as much as I can. As you said, this experience will be valuable when making other games.

Regarding the game I have a few questions though. First of all I am so jealous of your terminal screen looking way better then mine even though it not essential to your game as it is mine :D Secondly, after selecting the level and pressing play, I could see the scene, I clicked on the notes appearing on the screen. In my first two tries, I tried to find the sweet spot regarding when to click the circles as they close. But regardless of me trying different timings, the character started to run away but drones caught up after 5-10 seconds or so. Was there supposed to be more notes appearing on the screen? Because there wasn't any after the character started running.

In my 3rd, 4th and 5th try (first one after dying and 2 more after a complete reboot of the app),  I pressed play from the terminal, the scene appeared but nothing happened. After some time I clicked on the blue light on the floor, then the notes appeared, I clicked on the notes again but this time the character didn't even start running. So right now I am not sure what I am doing wrong but I looked into the itch page and couldn't find any guidance regarding controls or progress. Is there anything else I can do differently or is this perhaps a mac build issue?

For me, once I realized the vision was going through the door, I immediately looked for an alternate path and was so happy when I found it. Lovely level design, cheers.

It was an awesome game, loved it!

At first I was a bit confused because you can't shoot while you crouch, you can't see where the enemy is looking at easily, was expecting them to notice me when I start shooting and I was unable to kill the guards by shooting their neck (missing the head with a slight margin).

But then it clicked, I found the right angles to get all of them with a single headshot. It still wasn't easy so I enjoyed it quite much. The music and sounds was awesome (kinda wishing there was footsteps as well). Got really scared by that fella in the bathroom :) and was nervous when I hit the electrical switches, expecting more of them to raid (or at least spawn). So it was pretty fun overall, Loved it!

Edit: Also appreciate the mac version.

Same error. Is it just a single file?  No .dmg or anything else which you can zip together?

It gives the error: You can’t open the application “mac-v0.0.6” because it may be damaged or incomplete.

I'm sorry :(

Can you get exports for mac or Linux? Would love to try it

I would like that as well.

Lovely game

Awesome game. Loved when the employer couldn't write the messages correct.

Thank you so much <3 Wish we could've done more.
