This style reminds me of Mateusz Skutnik's games. I love his games and they are a big part of why I love this genre.

found a bug where the ponytail hair doesn't show game loads.

While I played the browser version, though it was recommended to download, the only performance issue I saw was the bit of lag that came with rendering the 3D environment and the player's movement in it. I did however find two bugs that bothered me. The first was when opening the storage for the delivery after ordering items. The delivery storage no longer went away it stayed on the screen. Only when I was in the order book did it disappear from the screen but as soon as the book was closed it would reaper. Second, which broke the game was when I pressed X while standing in front of the selling table. the table and the item on it went into my inventory. The table had no icon, it just showed a white box and I could not place it back down after I had picked it up. I think next time you should play test your game a few times before submitting it as it can reveal bugs that went unnoticed. Though I also understand that many of these game Jams are time-limited so looking for bugs is not a top priority, however, I think you should set aside a little bit of time to do so. As I think it can make all the difference.

I love Zelda games so i can't wait to play this.

I also have that bug where you can't place tiles directly in front of the train depo and every time I opened the menu with the houses I got lag and as I filled up more of the map with things. Still very cute and can't wait for what's next.

I'm using a Hp laptop and I am in a chrome browser. So I don't see why it would treat me differently from other computers.

I love this game so much that I came back and played it again. I wish there were more like it out there.

It won't load in the browser when I try to run it I get this message, "null function or function signature mismatch". I have tried refreshing my browser several times but with no luck.

this game is so much fun. each play-through is different from the last which makes it fun to do over and over. (and your discord link is broken.)

I just downloaded the demo and haven't even played it yet but, I will say that I am grateful that even after 5 years you have not given up on this project and are still pushing through. As so many great games never get made because their developers give up on them. So truly thank you for putting all that you have into this. You are an amazing human being.

okay, thanks I did not know that.

I can't open a 7z file and I have tried before but have not found a safe way to do so. Meaning I can play your game.

don't get me wrong I had a lot of fun. but I did not expect that XD I am not a person who plays many horror games so I was defiantly spooked as I did not read any comments so I went in thinking it was a cute little repair game XD Boy was I wrong. great job

I hate that as a creator you are afraid to show mistakes to the US audience because they only expect the best and don't even give them a chance to fix the mistakes. I know this is not really the case for most things, but I can understand it here when you have worked hard to show what you want the game to be. So the expectation is higher than if you released a demo first then showed the plans for the game. For me personally, if someone is not willing to give them a chance to improve the game, then I don't care if they enjoy it or not. Sorry for the rant, just felt that needed to be said. (and yes I am a US player) so that did kind of hurt but I get where you are coming from and I'm happy to wait. As rushing will only produce a sloppy game that no one will be happy about.

are you still working on this or have you given up on it

how do I pull up the menu?

my final score is 10640 and that was not from skill but pure luck. somehow a tower was the last block to fall so I kept getting its points.

haven't even played yet but love that it is a feature is to "underpay and overwork your workforce!" XD

No problem, I can tell a lot of work went into this and as an artist (in the drawing format) I know feedback can be helpful when trying to improve your craft. Without it, we can never hope to see the ways we can make our work better. Some give up because of that, so I try to support any type of creator and tell them what I think in hope that they will continue to make the amazing things they do.

Hi, I just downloaded your game and played it for a while. I'm at the point where I need more of everything but have to wait for it to be researched. (just for reference).  I feel the tutorial could have been better in a number of ways. Not that it was bad, it was very helpful. Just that it didn't feel like a clear set of instructions on how to play the game. It even seems to leave out a part of the production line that is needed to progress the game. Then after it has finished you are left completely on your own. The later game stuff is not explained nor is any of what the data means. If you really want to make this into a fully developed game you need to make it so people can know what is going on from the start. How you have pop-ups informing the player location they can not place things, makes me think why not have a pop tutorial format. It may take longer to implement and it's completely different from what you have currently. However, it could be a way to clean up the interface and it could even have a button to not pop up again. It would help clear up some confusion and make learning how to play more interactive. That is really my only problem with the game other than the controls but that comes down to preference. I love this game and am supporting you with all that I am. (that is by giving feedback and sharing this game. I am a broke college student and can't spare any money sorry.) Keep up the good work.

thank you I have been stuck on what to do. love this type of game but there are not many good ones out there. yours is definitely one of the best.

so when will it be out

aw man I'm on laptop so that wont work

I did my life up until now and also how I wish/ think I want it to go in the future and some parts were right others were way off. Just because someone likes to have fun doesn't mean they can't have good grades or if they have bad grades that their going to have an addiction. I didn't! Never done drugs in my life. Nor do I think you cant have a best friend if they have good grades. I'm an introvert with a small group of friends. this didn't not make me more confident. We all just happened to get along and like the same things and met at the right time.  Also I will never lose hope, least not permanently. It could be called a curse in that way as I eventually will with out trying to find a bright side to things. You got some things right, like being bullied for liking different things than others and how I will never want anything to do with sports but that's just me. If you ever remake this or update it add more options

loved it. loved the clean mechanics and smooth gameplay. I would have added some ambient background music. Nothing to loud or mood changing but something that seems like it would be playing. Like on a radio for background music in the train but quietly. maybe jazz or something instrumental like that. I understand if it be too hard to implement this far into the development a new mechanic and how every thing is so perfectly spaced out it might mess it up. but you could have a small radio that the player can switch between a few "stations" that all play the music described or have the option to leave it off so that the original background noise is not lost. One other thing I think could be improved and I don't know if you were already planning to improve them or not was the character models. Just because the whole the feels so alive and warm and the model feels flat and cold to me. I'm not saying you need to make a 3D model but there are some thing to better integrate it into the environment. Firstly color can make a huge difference and by that I mean shadows and highlights, since everything else has nice highlights and lowlights adding that would make the character come to life and make it feel more like it belongs in the environment its in. Next, and this ones just an opinion, adding a little bit of subtle movement can really make it seem as if its really living or not. Because everyone moves, even when standing still, you move your chest, shoulders and lungs to breath. Its subtle yes, but every animated tv show or film adds that to their characters because it adds life to them. Sorry for rambling and sorry for making this sound like a intro to an augmentative essay. I really did love the game. I am also a creator, just not of games, I make art of varying types and I have felt the frustration of working on something and there was a peace missing and how brave you are to share something you made because that can be scary. 4/5 stars as I think you can do better.(p.s. I never really give 5 star much)

cute

for those who don't know how to read the Morse code or didn't realize that there was Morse code on the games page here's what it says:

I didn't know if you had tried to fix it and it was still there so I thought I would let you know.

First look, not even played yet.... and I see run historical document and support this historical document. Well...... I'm already laughing my head off. This will be great.

I just got that bug as well.

I agree with what user @DarklingArcher says about learning what everything does and liked the game. But I found that randomly the speaker would pop and it got annoying really fast. Also a list of controls would have been helpful. like left click unselects the tile. Those are my only complaints.

I think the pillagers move too fast for me to place a bounty on them. Making it so I can't even get them before their out of control.

I cant use any items even after rebinding the key

I was looking for a game of this exact  type and this is one of the best I have found. However it could use some improvements. Therefore I like to give notes on what I thought was great and what could be better. Firstly, I love the style and detail but the movement blur leaves something to be desired and every time I moved there was a delay from the time I press the button to the time the character moved. The instructions to grab and drop things are backwards and not everything was clear on what to do. The music was nice when it worked and to lift anything I needed to be in a certain spot or I would be unable to.  I spent most my time struggling with lack of clear instructions and problems with lag and controls. I think If those were fixed I would be able to over look the other problems. I hope this helps you improve your game and I look forward to seeing the changes you make.
