Now this is what I call pure retro madness lol! Well done, it fits the theme even better than mine.

I can't be happier with your feedback, thanks!

Thanks! I like sometimes merging retro and modern sounds lol. I'm glad you're appreciating the melody too, since that took the most time to get right!

This is such a cool ambient track. I don't often listen to ambient tracks except those who have me hooked at the beginning, and yours did that. The intro melody was catchy as hell. The mixing is top notch as well. I would recommend expanding on it with some new sections.

Thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate it.

Thanks! I mainly use soundfonts from different sources such as old games and general midi libraries. For the 8bit stuff, I use NES VST 1.2.

That's the best way to describe it, not gonna lie lol. This is my first time participating in a music jam so I'm really glad for your feedback!

Hi, I sent you a request in discord

I have some cool ideas for this jam, but I cannot draw, so maybe we can brainstorm together and create a cool game!

I'm a programmer and composer.

I am a composer with 2 years of experience and familiarity with different genres. My style does not adhere to a specific genre, as I mix and match to get the necessary feelings that were intended for the context. I have done orchestral music + metal + jazz + plenty of other genres.

I have composed hundreds of tracks before, sometimes for others, most times for me, so I'm looking to get experience in working with others and bring their vision to life!

I am looking to expand my portfolio by offering my services without upfront payment. I only require three things:

1- Credits inside the game

2- Sharing some revenue depending on my contribution

3- I like the concept of the game and would be interested in composing for it.

The games I like to compose for are generally 2D RPGs and Metroidvanias as those genres let me shine by using interconnected themes and such.

As I mentioned, I love storytelling through music, so the bigger the role of story in your game, the more interested I will be.

If you're not sure or want to listen to some samples of my work, you can contact me in discord: akrmstnly

My bad, forgot to include my discord: akrmstnly

Hello, I'm a programmer and music composer looking to collaborate with a pixel artist and make cool games together in both the short-term and long-term.

I can't afford hiring one currently, so the best I offer is that we split revenue on whatever we work on.

As for the kind of games I make, I like RPGs and survival games, but I'm open-minded to other ideas.

Edit: my discord is: akrmstnly

Thanks! I replied to your dm

Hi, I'm working on a simple "deck-building" strategy game with turn-based mechanics and all, and I'm wondering if any pixel artist here is willing to help me with the art side of things since I lack that skill.

I'm a programmer using Godot and also a music composer, if that info is needed.

If you're interested please dm me in my discord: akrmstnly

Have a good day!
