The use of 8bit sounds with that trumpet is sooo good! & such an infectious melody too. Amazing job!

Developer

Thanks! I like sometimes merging retro and modern sounds lol. I'm glad you're appreciating the melody too, since that took the most time to get right!

You just had my full attention with that trumpet. And then there was SO MUCH MORE coming. Epic track. Melodically is just genius. The sax entrance at 0:56 is just incredible. Had so much fun listening to this.

Developer

I can't be happier with your feedback, thanks!

I really like it! Well done, sounds pretty well mixed too in my ears.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate it.

I would really appreciate if you listened to my track too if you haven't already, I'm at only 3 ratings.

Nice work!!! Would love to know more about the software/plugins you used! Love the energy.

Developer

Thanks! I mainly use soundfonts from different sources such as old games and general midi libraries. For the 8bit stuff, I use NES VST 1.2.

I wasn't sure how all of the different types of instrument sounds were going to go together (I heardchip, modern samples, FM, and 90s rompler sounds in here), but you did it! It's like a 90s computer ate 16 bit consoles and then was swallowed by a brand new PC.

That's the best way to describe it, not gonna lie lol. This is my first time participating in a music jam so I'm really glad for your feedback!
