Description
Continuing on with the NES soundchip project and trying to work within those limited constraints. This one uses 11/8 time signature with a 3/8 polyrhythm in the mid-section. Trying to get it crazy while actually still making sense on a base sonic processing level.

Great use of an "odd" time signature for such an effective swing feel & keeping it constrained to only 8-bit sounds can be so freeing for the composition. Really enjoyed this one!
Trills! Loving the sound design here, with so much love put in creating a diversity of tones and articulations. Bad-ass midsection and everything feeling very grounded with that crazy time signature. Cool job, as always!
thank you so much!! I’m glad the odd time wasn’t too off-putting hehe
Genius to go with obscure time signatures to get that chaos feeling. I really dig the authentic 8-bit sound!
Thank you!!! Ya it’s been really fun to dig into 8-bit composition and go back and play those games! Really makes you appreciate.
I can picture the crane game that goes with this one, and renting it from the smokey family owned video store that used to be near my house, haha. Cool stuff!
hahah thank you I love it!! 😁
