i first played Butterfly Soup around 4 years ago, still very much in early highschool, and now it is accompanying me as i finish my first year of uni! 🥳

I vividly remember the delight I felt when I played it for the first time! It was so funny, and so heartfelt! This experience - looking at the characters and whole-heartedly understanding them; being able to see my friends, my family, and myself within the characters, truly marked an epoch in my personal growth.  Especially since I live in a country that is predominantly Caucasian, this game felt so novel, so specifically aimed at me. 

So I really want to say thank you! Butterfly soup has brought me immense comfort over the years, and I certainly wouldn't be the same without it! I noticed that I had accumulated a lot of hours and wanted to commemorate it with a screenshot ^u^ It has carried me through many, many harrowing exams and assignments, and i extend my thanks not just as a queer asian but a queer asian in academic hell. 

This comment is getting awfully long, so maybe I'll just say it one more time: thank you so, so much! To continue Diya and Min's tradition, that's「 本当にありがとう！」in my other language :-)

Hi! Thank you so much for making this! It looks so clean and nice! I was just wondering how I could change the font, size, colour etc for the name (such as "Me") that accompanies the messages? I tried playing around w the code but I kept getting errors :')

No problem! I didn't find anything weird or any glitches, however I found a few simple typos! Instead of describing where in the story I found the typos, I just wrote down what line the typo was made in script.rpy on Editra, I hope that's okay!

The technical terms used in the route for Dr Kato was a little longwinded and repetitive for me, as well as when i was being hypnotised by her - a suggestion might be to cut some of the script or add in some short sentences so the sentence flow is not as monotonous?? Other than that i enjoyed playing this game SO much!! The characters, the music, the storyline and the art all created such a strong atmosphere and i felt completely spellbound by the game. I'm so happy i had the chance to play test this, thank you!

I'd love to try it out! I have lots of free time anyway because of work being cancelled due to covid-19 :D It sounds amazing from the description!

as far as i know you can only grow mushrooms in the bathroom! to have enough moisture in the air to grow a mushroom you just have to turn on the shower :D
