Thank you for your comment !

I think that the issue that you saw at your first game is that you spawned behind a element of the decor.
We are working on a keyboard friendly version.
Presently, it is still playable with keyboard but it needs some brain automation.

Glad that you love the music made by my friend Remoraki !

Nice game, i am also commenting here (well done for your second place on the game jam, I also noted your game before).

No sharks are spawning at the bottom on the game which means that i can have a infinite score if I stay there.

Thanks to this "strat", I saw that there is a moment where there are too many sharks to play normally, maybe you should put a limit and add other obstacles.

Really fun game.
The mise en scene is nice and have an epic music with it !

The game is pretty simple, maybe too simple (and it is not your opponent that will tell otherwise).
Input are hard coded which means that i have to physically press w (on a azerty keyboard, this is awkward). I know that you can play it with key arrows but it is not suitable for long sessions.

As I speak about long sessions, it would have been nice to have a way to skip the intro once you already saw it (or at least giving the possibitly to choose a button to not have to manually select a button from my mouse which is useless for the rest of the game).

I liked the retro vibe and enjoyed playing your game, well done !
PS : Blup blup  :D

A high difficulty is a characteristic for arcade genre. I am sad that you couldn't appreciate fully the game because of your lack of proper controller.
However, you can still play it with keyboard (my friend Remoraki did a better score than me playing with keyboard, which is 34 to 10 when I am writing those lines).
The unintuitive of displayed keys is an issue already raised by a lot of comments, we are aware of this and if we had more time, we would have implemented this (now we have something to distinguish which controller is used).
Thank you for your comment, I hope that you will come back to our game when/if you have a proper controller in the future.

As all arcade games should be ...
Ahah, more seriously, it is a common problem for a lot a person who played our game.
Sadly, we didn't have time to implement different difficulties but maybe in the future !
Thank you for your comment, glad to see that you like the ambiance made by the assets and the music from my friend Remoraki !

As the game is now, it is made primary for xbox controller player (but everyone does not own one which is sad :/ )
Thank you for your reply, big credit for my friend for this outstanding music :D

Interesting game, i managed to score 12. Controls are really slippery and some times I had the feeling that I was not in control anymore xD
I had a feeling of emptiness during my play test and maybe the game was too long .
Well done for your game !

Really interesting game !
I like the atmosphere :D
The best score does not work but overall the mechanics are working perfectly fine. I had time to master the control at first thanks to a small number of sharks. When big waves where coming, I already know how to move correctly, so another good point !

I totally agree with you about the difficulty with keyboard input. As a developer of this game, I only play with a controller plugged in (but as my friend replied, you can play on keyboard but the learning curb is high at first sight).

Thank you again for you comment ! :D

I played all the levels :
what I liked : simple controls but requiring some skills

what I disliked : moving platforms do not give inertia so you can't use them as boost for your jump, tiles with ? are pure randomness in some stages (where in other you can figure it out that there is no "simplest way" with only 2 tiles ?)

The music is a bit repetitive but overall sfx sounds are great.
I saw at the comments section that you did this game for another game jam, which is a bit odd, even if it was also with a random generator

Thank you a lot for your comment, glad to see that you enjoyed playing our game !
I agree with you, playing with the keyboard can be a little hard at first (for myself, I played with Xbox controller which is I think the best for the game).
All the credit for the music comes for my friend !

I played your game and i surprised myself trying to find some cool strats to overcome the main issue with your game : it is too difficult. I managed to score 168 which is not bad (i think) but I reached a point where there are more enemies to kill than my weapons can (I every shot was done correctly).
An other point : I am not a fan of the atmosphere and the game lacks of depth : only one enemy and one way to shoot.
It was nonetheless interesting so well done :D

Really interesting game ! I like the atmosphere and I think that all of the constraints are in the final game. My favorite technique : jumping again and again (and some time killing those nasty fairies ahahah).
It only lacks of some music / sfx and a savable highscore, but it is inherent to a game jam, so only fun remains :D

Nice game ! Despite having only one touch, you successfully made a game with some depth of gameplay ! :D
A bit hard to understand the interaction with some walls (i was spamming at some point)
I am just sad that it has only one level !
