Best sisyphus game for sure! Knew doing a 2d take on it would be wild.

The visuals are great and overall a very polished game, reminds me of 'Shroom and Gloom'.

There is a bug somebody perhaps mentioned it before about the weapons selling for more.

I liked the art style, it's very good and the game is also polished but when I land on the '?' step the UI doesn't work, is there something I'm missing?

You had reviewed our game, it was actually my first 3d game so I had a lot of issues, hence appreciate the negative feedback😅.

I like your take on sisyphus, this could work as a desktop app, pretty and well implemented.
I saw your entry when I was searching for similar sisyphus themed games like ours. Yours really stuck with me.

Yeah the lag occurs because of the accumulated rocks, but I hoped you would be able to break the gate quick so it doesn't get to that point.

You have to grab the rock by pressing G and roll it near the slingshot, it'll automatically throw it towards the gate.

Oh the polish on this game!
I really love games with art styles like these, pretty cool game.

I love the idea of this , it's fun to play.

Nice work!

Cool Idea! It is a bit difficult to play but I guess that is what makes it interesting.

Actually I did not know what paperboy was until I read the comments and was surprised my game was so similar to it😅

Thanks for playing tho!

Yeah did not polish and test well, I fixed some of the issues but i can't submit them until the jam has ended.

Yeah i'm working on these but I can't submit the fix until the jam has ended.

Yeah the monster sure does give nostalgia.

I get the theme connection is weak, initially I had planned to go with a story progression where the character gets to see the monster over 3 days, on the first only the sound no chase, on the second footsteps with little bit of a chase and the whole monster on the third with a full on chase, but I tried implementing a mvp(that's only doing day3 idea) considering the time which I did not manage properly.

The monster is supposed to speed up when you slow down that's how I make it challenging but yeah it's not fast enough.

I'll fix these issues since I didn't test my game out that well.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'll fix some issues you've mentioned(the graphics and controls).

About the paper, I agree it could be confusing to check for a hit, I've only used the labels that show how much paper you've left and how much you've delivered, I was hoping that would be enough.

I submitted my entry despite having a few bugs and not fully polishing the game so hence the inconsistencies😅.

Oh didn't notice that, thanks for the feedback!

Yeah😅, thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback!

I appreciate it.

I ran out of time to implement the goblins/orcs mechanics and I did overlook some bugs like the text overlapping, typos and the key bindings.

No there's no Objective after defeating all the orcs but I was thinking of keeping few dialogues to get the feel of 'restoring peace', I'm not thinking of advancing the game as i want to learn game dev more than prioritizing a project currently.

Also the player model was the asset I used from the sponsorship assets and I went with whatever suited or gave fantasy/warrior vibes rather than chibi gacha vibes hence came across the naked one😅

I thought that might happen😅 I had put few small black holes on the walls that you had to interact to go to a new place(the hideouts that I mentioned) but I didn't want to make it too obvious, apparently they blended too well with the wall I think.

Thanks for the comment and for trying out my game!

It was in my promotions section maybe it could be flagged there for you too?

Oh ok, Thanks!

Ok so is it specifically supposed to be about tiny characters in a big area?

I'm new to game dev even though I've tried to pick it up many times and I'm always less on motivation  to continue I am hoping to finish a game this time.
So I'm a bit confused what the theme is?
