Wow...
This is honestly my favorite game from the jam. The pacing was really good, it seemed like there was enough time to let the story settle before switching up the mood. The visual change and sound design when the player gets overwhelmed about working made me very uncomfortable (good because its unnerving, something you would like to feel in psychological horror). I liked the animation when a new customer comes into the screen.
For cutting the fish, I think ti would be cool to have it cut by draging the mouse down instead of clicking. It was a bit hard to see the indicator to wrap the fish after cutting. I think it should be brighter or more visible in some way. It would be cool if there were different types fish to cut as well! Hope you both continue working on it after the jam! I would definitely play it again.

I enjoyed killing the bats, it was pretty fun! I really liked the VFX used for the grenade and slingshots. The camera movement was a little off I noticed. Like another commenter, I also ran to try and gather the bats and shoot them. Maybe there could be a combat mechanic where you run towards them to kill them as well instead of just running away?
I appreciate that you took the time to write detailed feedback. The future enhancements would be really helpful to people playing the game. What kind of upgrades should be added to the graphics? And yeah I got lucky, I was waiting for the web build to be finished but it was taking a while so I went ahead with submitting a windows build. I definitely need to fix the resolution.
Thank you! So it's supposed to have a RPS system based on the hat you choose. Looking back on it, I probably should have cut it out since I also didn't implement another hat choice.
The idea was that if a player had a different hat, they would be able to switch to it and use the abilities associated with said hat they chose.
Here's my game Haunted Hat., i's a prototype for a turn based combat system. I'll check your game out

dumping art i made for my game in the game dev . tv game jam. it's a turn based prototype just to test out battle mechanics. Haunted Hat by vainde if you wanna play

I loved the graphics, it was very nostalgic and reminded me of playing on the PS2. It was difficult to tell I was close to danger, but I realized once i hit the cutscene and it transititoned to the main screen. I think some form of audio feedback to let players know a ghost is nearby or something could help. I did notice I picked up an item, but was not sure how to use it or if I could. Nice submission!
Hi Peter, thank you for your comment! I think it's a resolution issue. I do not think it has been configured properly for other scren sizes as I knew someone who had the same issue you did regarding the hat page.
To go back, you need to press Z on your keyboard. It's unfortunately cut off on your screen.
I can definitely see what you mean with the position of the damage feeling counter intuitive.
