Wow...

This is honestly my favorite game from the jam. The pacing was really good, it seemed like there was enough time to let the story settle before switching up the mood. The visual change and sound design when the player gets overwhelmed about working made me very uncomfortable (good because its unnerving, something you would like to feel in psychological horror). I liked the animation when a new customer comes into the screen.

For cutting the fish, I think ti would be cool to have it cut by draging the mouse down instead of clicking. It was a bit hard to see the indicator to wrap the fish after cutting. I think it should be brighter or more visible in some way. It would be cool if there were different types fish to cut as well! Hope you both continue working on it after the jam! I would definitely play it again.

As the other person mentioned, it reminded me of buckshot roulette as well! I enjoyed playing it though and found it pretty fun. I think the audio could be more tense when an organ is getting worse.

Thanks for playing queen! It means a lot to me.

You did a great job on the level design and as others mentioned, I can see the doom inspiration! I hope you continue to work on it after the jam if you choose to.

I really enjoyed playing this game. The story was well written and I found it engaging to sustain my attention. I liked how you guys incorporated different psychological concepts into the game and the art was pleasant..

I liked the story at the beginning. I do wish there was more music to the game. Like another commenter said, the parasites popped up quite a bit.

The audio design worked really well with creating a creepy atmosphere

Pretty fun game. A cool idea could be making the parasite look different based on how many segments it grows.

i really like the music for the game! An option to set the speed of the camera movement would be helpful. I like the different abilities you can use, it's interesting you can shoot from a sword lol

The dialogue options are a great choice for the story.

Glad you liked it!

The game was pretty nostalgic. I haven't played a horizontal endless runner in at least a decade or so.. It was fun to play. I think the voice acting should be more energetic due to how the character looks, but overall solid submission you guys made! The art is really adorable.

This game was really engaging. I enjoyed the dialogue a lot in addition to the cutscenes during it, I think you guys did a great job with writing the story before the game starts. The character desisgn for them both is pretty cute too! Good job ^^

I enjoyed killing the bats, it was pretty fun! I really liked the VFX used for the grenade and slingshots. The camera movement was a little off I noticed. Like another commenter, I also ran to try and gather the bats and shoot them. Maybe there could be a combat mechanic where you run towards them to kill them as well instead of just running away?

Thank you for your feedback Iron Halo! Yeah sure no problem, I can do that for you.

I'm glad you liked the music, I got it from Pixabay. They have some really good music on there and SFX as well. As other commenters suggested I should add more abilities/hats/strategy to make the battles more interesting haha. Thank you for your comment.

Thank you Valeriy for your comment! Allowing people to strategize better would make the combat for meaningful. I'm glad you like the art style.

I appreciate that you took the time to write detailed feedback. The future enhancements would be really helpful to people playing the game. What kind of upgrades should be added to the graphics? And yeah I got lucky, I was waiting for the web build to be finished but it was taking a while so I went ahead with submitting a windows build. I definitely need to fix the resolution.

I'm glad you like it, I definitely should have put the other hats in and some different abilities. I messed up on the resolution unfortunately :/

Thank you! So it's supposed to have a RPS system based on the hat you choose. Looking back on it, I probably should have cut it out since I also didn't implement another hat choice.

The idea was that if a player had a different hat, they would be able to switch to it and use the abilities associated with said hat they chose.

I'm glad you liked the game. Yeah I think after reading all the feedback I got, I definitely should have added more options (especially with changing hats...)

Yeah I messed UP on the resolution lol. I'm glad you liked the idea, thank you for your feedback.

The aesthetics for the street and music are good for this game. Unfortunately I can't see anything when I get inside the house other than the HUD. I saw the indicator that the brain thing (sanity I assume?) is going down, but there isn't any feedback audio/visual to understand why.

I really liked playing Glued to the TV. Glued to the TV by Andy Vece

Here's my game Haunted Hat., i's a prototype for a turn based combat system. I'll check your game out

Haunted Hat by vainde

dumping art i made for my game in the  game dev . tv game jam. it's a turn based prototype just to test out battle mechanics. Haunted Hat by vainde if you wanna play

I loved the graphics, it was very nostalgic and reminded me of playing on the PS2. It was difficult to tell I was close to danger, but I realized once i hit the cutscene and it transititoned to the main screen. I think some form of audio feedback to let players know a ghost is nearby or something could help. I did notice I picked up an item, but was not sure how to use it or if I could. Nice submission!

I liked the art that you made for it, reminds me of donkey kong a bit. What did you have trouble with making it playable and what engine did you use? If you used Unity, I can give you some advice.

Fun endless runner game! The sound effects and music were kind of funny haha. I would consider changing the red text to white and maybe a more tense sounding song for the game so it feels like you're being chased.

I really liked the aesthetics for this game, it was really well made.  The sound is good too!

The aesthetics and music are great and it's nice to play a very unique genre since there are not many tower defense games that were submitted. The gameplay lets you think carefully about your positioning and strategy and it's fun to retry and optimize different runs on the game ^^

Thank you, I just capped it at 100 since it's a prototype haha. I'm glad you liked it and thank you for comment.

Hi Peter, thank you for your comment! I think it's a resolution issue.  I do not think it has been configured properly for other scren sizes as I knew someone who had the same issue you did regarding the hat page.

To go back, you need to press Z on your keyboard.  It's unfortunately cut off on your screen.

I can definitely see what you mean with the position of the damage feeling counter intuitive.

The art and SFX is SO good! Good job to you both ^^

The art and animations is really good for the game you made. Nice!

I like the aesthetics of the game and the sound. The navigation system is really cool as well! Good job.

Thank you Dorsa!
