Gameplay: 3 stars → The game feels clunky, and i spent most of the time doing the same thing in the menus. Finding a way to make the core loop a bit more engaging would be nice. For example, a dynamic economy that sometimes values certain crops more than other, because atm i just chose the clover over and over again since it looks like it benefits me more. And the adjustable prices is not a bad idea, but in the execution i think it removed the reward of getting economically powerful, since prices are raised the more money you have. Also, progress feels slow, and buying a shelf upgrade doesn't feel good, because you are "wasting" this progress.
Theme: 5 stars → The microtransactions should've been next to the ads rewards in my opinion (i did not find them at first)
Polish: 4 stars → I really love the animations, I just think some animations hinders the experience and make the game less responsive. For example, the inventory takes a bit of time before going up, and that is noticeable.
Visuals & Audio: 5 stars → The game is really pretty, good job. And the audio matches well with the visuals.
Also i had to refresh the page multiple times because of a bug with ads, but my progress was not saved. I'm having doubt about the auto save thing.
Overall i think it's the best game of this game jam. It's very clunky, but looks and plays great.

It should work in fullscreen on a 1080p monitor, if you still cant play, you can watch the video for just a simple showcase of what a simple run looks like. The freezing is my fault, it's when its loading GPUParticles for the first time, should work with no freeze after the first few freezes. Thank you for playing !

Gameplay: 3 stars → The gameplay loop is really well done, but after buying the upgrades there's no goal and playing feels pointless.
Theme: 4 stars → It's really a good idea, and it works really well. I just think that good players would have no reason to spend their money
Polish: 2 stars → little things like the bottle breaking particle or the "-2$" are good, but I don't think the look really great, but at least there are some
Visuals & Audio: 2 stars → I love the pixel art, but it could use some y sorting and shadows. Also since it's not pixel perfect, the movements look out of place. The audio is not balanced, I'm sure you noticed it but the shooting and bottle breaking sfx are very loud. Also i believe the font is not scaled properly (it needs to be scaled by a factor or its original size). In my opinion a talking sfx for the npc would make them feel much more alive and add immersion.
I hope this isn't too harsh, that's not the goal

Gameplay: 2 stars → I think more depth in the player controls would help. And i couldn't buy the guns too
Theme: 2 stars → I still think it's a good idea, too bad it wasn't working.
Polish: 3 stars → The player controller is very polished, i like it ! But the enemies and menus don't seem to be. (An anticipatory animation before the enemy shoots would help with dodging)
Visuals & Audio: 2 stars → I think the pixel art looks very nice, but the audio the shooting sfx really ruins the experience.

I really like the TCG collection concept, it's simple, and it feels like you're advancing toward a goal. The minigame(s?) too sound like a good idea, too bad its bugged, i would've loved to finish it. It's obvious you were crunching, so i won't go into details about everything that's lacking, since i assume you're aware. I feel like ai art is only great cover arts, but anything else looks honestly impressive, but not great.
Gameplay: 2 stars → Honestly the core loop sounds very fun, with a little polishing and more depth/strategy it could be a really great game. I did not rate it higher because of the game breaking bug and the minigame, unfortunately.
Theme: 3 stars → Nothing was really told explicitly, so i assumed you can buy boosters with real money. And if that's the case, it's a great way to add engagement, but at this point I'm gaslighting myself.
Polish: 1 star → I don't think there's any polish, which is surprising for a gambling/booster pack type of game. The game would REALLY benefit a lot from polish, especially the boosters and the transactions.
Visuals & Audio: 2 stars → The visuals are not coherent, but that's to be expected with AI art. And audio is fine, however I didn't felt like it complemented the visual very well
Overall i think it could be a great game, and that's personal preference but i would much prefer well colored icons and shapes like the game "thomas was alone" rather than ai pixel art. (i recommend https://game-icons.net/ for simple game icons)
I hope this isn't too harsh, that's not the goal :(

I like the animations. Now the progress is wayy too slow (for me). I'm sure you played with the assistant, but here its not available. I think making the core loop more rewarding would help a ton, adding variety too (like the golden cookie from cookie clicker, something random that makes you change the objective for a short time)
Gameplay: 2 stars
Theme: 1 star → I did not see any mention of microtransaction, but maybe i left the game too early
Polish: 3 star → I like it, even though the animations and overall balance is very slow (easy fix though)
Visuals & Audio: 2 stars → It's visually coherent, and the audio has so much untapped potential
Overall i think these are all easy fixes, i suggest looking at a game that's very similar and take note of everything that makes progress feel rewarding and not repetitive (my little universe for example)

Hi ! i made this game a very long time ago, when i was still a beginner at game dev. I didnt even tested the mac version since i had no mac so thanks for reporting the issue :/ I dont have the files of the games anymore so i cant update it but trust me its not worth it, the gameplay is horrible in my opinion an i could make a way better game now. Thanks for commenting, i might make a similar game on day !!
