This week brought a new enemy, a reworked pause menu, and a bunch of smaller improvements.
The PhaseShifter is the new addition — a teleporting ground enemy with invincibility buffs and its own orb projectile system. Orbs now explode on impact and release double the shards, so positioning around them actually matters. New SFX assets are in too.
On the UI side, the pause menu got a full rework. Cleaner layout, more readable loadout display.
Steady progress. More next week.

Proxima  is a solo-developed top-down roguelite shooter set in deep space.

Choose your pilot, survive endless waves, unlock upgrades, and face increasingly brutal bosses across multiple biomes. Each run is procedurally driven. Each death makes you stronger.

Hi guys, new 2 enemies added to the game biome2, walls are now wider. 

Spike Thrower — A hovering support-attacker that glides in wide orbits around the player, keeping its distance while hurling a slow-spinning projectile. The projectile drifts through the air before suddenly stopping mid-flight, spinning faster and faster, then bursting apart into four razor spikes that fly outward based on its rotation angle at the moment of release. Dangerous at range — the delayed burst mechanic punishes players who ignore it.
Jump Enemy — An aggressive ground-based predator that circles the player on a tight orbit before launching itself in a parabolic leap directly toward them. On landing it slams the ground and releases a burst of 5-10 mortar-style projectiles that arc outward across a wide area, each leaving a small shockwave on impact. He has chance to jump in place makes it unpredictable — sometimes the danger isn't the enemy itself but the projectile spread it leaves behind.

 This update adds keyboard navigation across all menus and an in-game tutorial so new players can jump straight into the action without guessing mechanics. - Spawn indicators — always know where the next threat is coming from

- New music — fresh tracks to keep the adrenaline going

- Parabolic dual laser — Basic Shooter fires twin arcing beams(biom2)

- Some enemies have Ping pong animation

- New background — a fresh visual layer to the battlefield

- Tether enemy — a new foe that chains and drags you into danger

- Bug fixes and stability improvements
