I think slickmode was a fun addition :)

ref gave me a red card for slide tackling a horse >:/

This game would be a lot easier if these fellas drove on the right side of the freeway!

I liked the cutscene, but it would have been nice to be able to skip it (I died a lot)

using the power of button mashing, I managed to consistently make my past self more dangerous than the boss

trying to clear the wave in time was a fun extra goal (I only managed it once)
Best I could manage was SSSADD, which was a funny score

I couldn't get past lvl7, but the music was cool and this game does make you feel like an icecube

oh, that may have been the custom level/level editor? (or it may have been a crash?)
there is a big text box on the left that you can put custom sequences into to try - but unfortunately, the game doesn't make it super clear how to use the custom level

couldn't figure out how to turn my checkers into kings

this time, Ronny has gone too far

for some reason the wall run click became very soothing the more I heard it? those rooftop pools are devious though!

Figured out I could jump on top of an ogres head and have him do my job for me >:)

firefox - but maybe an addon was causing trouble? R worked correctly on chrome :)

Thanks! it was a lot of fun to put together :)

Thanks very much :)

If I were to do it again, I think I'd specify which words in the search are 'keywords' so that it highlights words like 'the' and 'how' a bit less

The clams are proud of you no matter what! they are cheering for your success :)

The submarine controls were quite fun! It took me a little while to find the enemies though.

I think it would help a lot if there was a ping for the submarine that you're trying to rescue, I wasn't able to find it...

Could not get far beyond the first egg despite my best attempts!
I liked the multi-block powerup the best >:)

That sponsorship quota is brutal! Always felt a bit bad resurfacing under quota, but I guess running out of work beats running out of air

possible bug: If you click main menu after dying, when you press play you'll keep your upgrades, but you'll have an even bigger quota!

I was quite pleased with myself when I figured out I could cover more area by diving on the left and resurface on the right, but the anglerfish seemed to object :P

Crazy slick execution. And I like the cat.

I am writing down notes.

Thanks! He doesn't get much screen time, but I'm quite happy with how the tutorial/hint bulldog clip turned out

I'm glad you liked it! The cutscene was a lot of fun to make :)

hmm, involving the printer more is a good idea!
I struggled quite a bit with the core mechanic, each page is supposed to give an indication if the right result is on a later page or an earlier one, but its not as clear as I would like. so in the end, I decided not to make it too punishing (but popups would ad a bit of flavour to missclicks though!)

Procedural generation in 3 days is impressive!
Had some issues with the controls and I kept getting stuck with an enemy on my head

took me a while to figure out throwing was Shift+R on my browser

only being able to jump one block made mining quite tricky! I liked the piano

Initially you could, but once you reach top speed nitro won't get you moving any faster, so it just becomes harder to steer

cutscenes were lots of fun! struggled to control the character though, it seemed like the hitbox was in a different spot to the sprite? might have been a browser issue.

thanks very much :)

I really like the upgrade tree between rounds, made me feel a bit better when those bosses clobbered me :)

combat is a bit fiddly! some upgrades like the vampire clogs will make Victor a little better at staying alive :)

(1 edit)

Spinning speed as health was very interesting! Great variety on the bosses! I would have enjoyed being a bit more focus on the melee attacks.

Satelites are very useful but I found them too loud once I collected a few, I also had some trouble with the mouse - it didn't seem to be locked in place so turning was hard because I kept mousing out of the game.  did you use Cursor.lockState? It didn't impact the rating :), it may have been a quirk of my browser

Beautiful graphics and sound! Controller support works well, and the tutorial graphics are great!
I kept pressing shoot immediately when I died, maybe there could be a little pause before the end screen accepts input for those of us twitch trigger fingers :)

I liked that the cowboys ran away from the bull when I tried to chase them

The rock SFX were a fun suprise :)

I think with a bit of health regen and a difficulty slider, endless mode could be a lot of fun!
Maybe we can think of some more dialogue for Clorp to keep the player company.

The orbiting energy was a really creative take on the theme! and a very good death animation :)
Really loved how original the art was, and the whole game felt very polished!

Simple concept executed well :)
I had a bit of trouble with audio though - I just heard a sort of low buzzing?

Took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out how to exit the rings! It felt a bit difficult to begin with, but it was fun once I got a hang of it. I got trapped against the world border a few times though, maybe a tiling map or a clearer border would help?

Very original idea! it might be nice if the un-selected planes drifted a bit, so you'd have to correct course
