Once you've seen Lyx the first time at your bedside you need to keep playing the game - conquer at least the apartments and the bridge and then do the bridge event at night where you try and scout the church.

After that, wait until Claire shows up. Lyx will appear shortly afterwards when you sleep and then you just follow your lead :)
