Hmm ok, I’ll try and do some testing with firefox and see if I can reproduce or identify a potential cause. I’m guessing breaking stones doesn’t have the same issue?

Yes, breaking stone also crashes the browser. Using a MacBook Ppro, so it's an Apple M1 GPU.
