So I had a chance to play this as a part of a previous jam although I did not have time to get to an ending this time either. I ended up playing a monk instead of a Goth and I found both to be really fun. I would probably still lean to the Goth as being more fun but it was definitely close between the two. The changes to the combat are great and it felt far more fast-paced and made the overall game much easier to enjoy. I did interact with the lake quite a few times but I didn't end up giving it enough weapons and I wasn't able to afford the weapons I was finding at that point. I probably could of if I went farther but I was definitely starting to reach a point where I thought I might end up dying before getting further. On the whole, really enjoy the game quite a bit and the changes you made were definitely for the better so nicely done!

Thanks for checking it out again! A lot of those changes were absolutely a result of your feedback from the previous jam :)

Earlier, some people reported having their inventories filled with weapon drops. I went ahead and both added new weapon drops to a few enemies, and added the Lady of the Lake as an alternative use for those drops, rather than selling for a pittance. I went back and forth between requiring 5 and 6 weapon offerings before the reward. It's at 6 now, but I might scale it back down. There's this disgustingly, game-breakingly powerful build with a Cleric, the skill Dreams of Gold, and the Miserhammer; the Lady of the Lake makes it a bit easy to complete that build. Maybe I'll find an alternative way around that and lower the number of offerings.

That actually sounds pretty fun, I'll have to try the cleric at some point! I'll admit, half the reason I made sure to rate/play your game for this jam too was that I really enjoyed it last time and the devlog post made it look like you improved a lot of things. Definitely on the right track with it overall, I had fun last time but even more fun this time.
