Glad you enjoyed the game! I apologize for the disappointment by the lack of fish unfortunately they're very camera-shy but rest assured they are there out of frame

(i didn't feel like drawing any actual fish for something like the """"minigame"""" lmao. but i do have my cartoon fishies in the menus and stuff!)

The same happens for me on the browser version, the menu does not allow any of the buttons to be clicked. I wouldn't say that my computer is under-powered and unable to run it, though. I run an intel i7-8700k/24gigs of ram/EVGA rtx 2060 6gb as my main system and can handle most games fine - not sure what's keeping it from being clickable!

I'm sorry for these issues, I also don't know what's going on with that. My guess is it could be something to do with the engine? It handles all of the exporting on it's own, and I also had a similar issue with playing a different test game I made with this engine. It's a pretty niche engine so it's possible? I will look into other things as well.

Do you think it could be something to do with how I compress the .zip files? I just take the export folder and compress it with like the default windows function to compress the .zip file.

If you have any other potential explanations, let me know! I want to figure this out too!

(edit: something else to note is that an indicator to know if the menu is done loading is if the music starts. if it's started, the menu is done loading and should be clickable. just wanted to note in case it's relevant)

Interesting, I wonder if it's a browser issue. To try helping with testing, I opened the game in Chrome and it loads the menu buttons and then music kicks in almost right away - on the other hand, Firefox does not get to the point where it loads the music at all (I've been sitting for around 12mins now and there's no change, while Chrome was immediate). Microsoft Edge is even worse and loads/displays only the backlog; qVvB9gY.png - I don't know that it's due to how you compress the zip files, does the engine have a support forum you could look to for more assistance troubleshooting the game maybe?

By the way, after playing, good job! The art is very cute, the music you chose is lovely, and I like the ui. :) I am a honed fisherman willing to learn any fish related hobby for my one true love!

Thank you for the insight! I use Opera on my laptop so that could be it. I'll look at the engine's website to see if I can ask anyone as well.

And I'm glad you liked the game! Thank you for playing!
