Wow I really did love this game, and the fact that you used Rust and Bevy is pretty impressive!

Also if you could also leave a review on my game that would be much appreciated!

Yup no worries, thank you!

What a HYPE music! nice game!

I know right! Huge thanks to the composer.

i liked this one a lot!!

the only thing i would like to see is more polished ui and game sprights.

other than that, this game is perfect.

Developer

UI is pretty rough to work in for Bevy, so I decided to focus on other aspects of the game this time. I'm definitely looking into creating some reusable UI plugins in the future though. Thank you for playing!

yup!! i enjoyed the game.

Absolutely loved this twist on the bullet heaven genre!  I got to level 23/666 enemies before the incoming fire was overwhelming

My highest rated game so far

I really enjoyed this!! Unlike other top down auto battlers this one didn't take long before the action really started to ramp up and become fun. Also very clever incorporating the ship of Theseus idea with the limitation being able to constantly change out your weapon load out with new weapons.

My favorite game so far! My only minor critique is that all the enemies besides the krakens were a breeze to get through and weren't very challenging. But maybe I didn't get far enough.

Great job!

Thank you!! Yup I agree, keeping your weapons up and dodging the occasional projectile is pretty much all you need for the early game, but the kraken attacks really start adding up. I'm glad you liked the idea as well!

this is definitley my favorite

The game itself is great. The fact the game is made via custom engine written on Rust is impressive. The only question, how is the game related to the theme of the game? The wind.

Developer(+1)

We decided to follow the limitation more than the theme as the theme is optional. We did have ideas for integrating wind into the game, but they ended up being more annoying than interactive. Also the game isn't made in a custom engine, but it's actually made with Bevy, which is a rust library/engine that helps with an ECS system as well as other features like rendering sprites and UI. Thank you for playing!

Thanks for the clarification. Didn't hear about Bevy. Looks like it's a nice framework I should try)) thanks

Loved it. A great design with a great concept

Thank you!

Definitely one of the funniest of this jam, it kept me glued for several minutes.

The graphic assets are wonderful, especially the various enemies with peculiar characteristics, and adventurous music on the theme.

I think I had reached an excellent level, and I had found a deadly combo (2 lightning bolts and 1 trident) that made me almost unbeatable... until too many octopuses and their pernicious waves attacked me at the same time.

Great job guys, awesome game!

Developer(+1)

The krakens definitely get overwhelming lol, thank you!

Developer(+1)

Also you have an amazing way with words, I've never even heard the word "pernicious" until now

Submitted(+1)

hahaha thanks, I just read a lot since I was little.
And your game also hides a small pearl of culture in the name: "The Ship of Theseus", which is both a paradox of metaphysics and an intricate and fascinating book by Doug Dorst. Heartfelt compliments!

Developer(+1)

Oh interesting, I've never heard of the book. We very much themed our game around greek mythology and Theseus and our gameplay around the paradox.

Yes indeed, the theme of your game is very well developed in the arts which are superlative.
