I liked the sloooowly animating key (builds anticipation), and that you animated the rest after it in detail (maybe the timing seemed off because there were no sounds, sounds ease the animations and the player's brain interprets the whole thing blending together) Consider some music too! :) The most basic are online beat-machines which create loops for you. Music does matter!
