I really enjoyed this short story! The overall atmosphere is great and the little segments with the puzzles were a welcome break from it all being just story.

I do see 2 things which I would change personally. First, I'm not sure if an option like this exists on Gamemaker but usually there's a setting which causes games to keep the same base resolution even when stretched out. This is usually done for pixel art games and it would help you avoid these imperfections whenever the camera pans up and down:

Second, the ending just ends way too suddenly. You have loud sounds which then just abruptly cut out. Maybe just adding a fade out with some "The End" text would suffice for that.

But overall, I really did enjoy this and I'm looking forward to your 3rd game!

Btw, thanks for the detailed issues you listed on Suited Scarlett. I'm 99% sure I've determined the cause of the crash and will have it fixed in a soon to come patch.

Heya, thanks for the feedback!

Yea, I've been having these problems with graphics in gamemaker a lot, I will look into that so that I can avoid these problems in future.

About ending - yes, you are right, it does indeed need some "proper explanation" that the game ended. I'm just really into oneshot-like games where game can just close/write something to text files on computer/and so on - so if I made this game for desktop it would just close in the end. But yea, I will try to avoid this kind of stuff while I'm doing web games.

And thanks for looking into that bug! Would really love to know what caused it.
