Woah, I completely didn't expect that ending, everything was a form of twists and turns and really there was no sort of closure for Sam or Marie or any sort of ending that was resolved which I have to say, is quite eerie. I love the atmosphere of this one, it's tense and charged, filled with unease with a hell of an unreliable narrator and a terrifying unexplained story.

I guess all gothic horrors do have that unexplained horror factor that the narrative doesn't want to explain which is so eerie and unsettling to me (in a good story perspective!) I have to say, I love how you draw Marie because oh boy I was so charmed by her design which made the attraction people feel towards her very obvious, not only that, but the way you set up the story and write the words really popped up in an elegant way. I feel so bad for Sam but it appears to be he is as flawed as a selfish person is since 'Sam' won't let them rest as he seems so fixated on painting.

I wonder if he was never given the chance to paint since he worked hard as a tailor and he was so desperate to make a name or talent of himself, either way, amazing unsettling job!
