Alright, here's my feedback on the game:

  • Since the background is solid black, there is no reference for your movement. Imagine playing a platformer in which the ground was solid green and the sky was solid blue; at the straight parts you would have no clue about your movement speed (or direction).
  • Something weird is going on with the mouse cursor, it moves way too quickly. Maybe you have a bunch of mouse acceleration in the game.
  • The music is alright, but a bit repetitive. Sorry Tessy ;-).
  • The graphics could have some more love. The shapes are very basic and the colours don't complement eachother. Here are a bunch of nice colour pallettes: https://digitalsynopsis.com/design/beautiful-color-schemes-combinations-palettes/
  • I also don't see how the game fits the theme. My game doesn't have a great connection with the theme, but your game has none (as far as I can see).

The upgrades screen lies to you and does the opposite affect, although I can read that feedback that it might not be obvious enough to some players at first. Thanks for sharing the color palette list! Would definitely consider those.
