I like the story and the concept. I wish the controls were a bit more responsive tho. Pretty fun lil experience other than that :p

Love the super retro arcade feel to the graphics and music. Also interesting gameplay concept! It was a fun twist on a simple idea. The enemy felt a bit easy to avoid sometimes. Like I could just keep stealing gold right in front of him and he wouldn't try to stop me. Felt like he should have spotted me sometimes, but he'd just turn right back around. Lucky RNG maybe? I also wanted a way to know how much gold is in my bag at any given point, cus sometimes I was able to collect 10-20 at a time and I wondered how much I really had. It was a fun game! Felt like I was a bank robber pulling off a big heist when I'd get a really full bag without getting caught. I like the character designs! Nice job :)

Thanks for playing! This game was inspired by the game & watch game called octopus. If I had an extra hour, I would have implemented an audio cue or a number visual. In retrospect, I made the enemy too complicated for where moving back and forward would have sufficed. Tanks for the feedback.

It's like a 80's arcade game. And it's fun!
