This Devotion part seems INCREDIBLY slow. Maybe I am doing it wrong.

Also, I tried to use the export code on another computer while I was at work. The import code was not accepted ans the message said to contact the developer. The code itself was nothing like a typical save code. It was all gibberish with a large amount of squares in the text, squares that are usually there when your machine don't have the font required to display whatever is there.

Is this normal?

Yeah, the Devotion stage is pretty slow compared to the rest. It gives me more time to add content before players reach the end again :D

I'm not sure why the export file didn't work on your other device, send it over to me so I can take a look. :)

And yes, the text itself is normal, it's encrypted

I just tried it on my home computer and it worked fine. Do I need to be logged into my itch account for it to work?

No, there are no requirements when it comes to importing save files. I'm really not sure what the problem could be here :/

I think it may be to do with the other PC being on a Chinese Windows OS. And whenever I type something, I must always change it to English first. As I am just uploading a text file rather than entering the code somewhere, I am guessing that the PC reads the file as Chinese. Whatever the case, I am glad the save file is encrypted. It's too tempting to cheat with an unencrypted save file.

On another note, I don't quite get something about Blueprints.

Below the description it says, (Requires five time the Cost).

Does this mean that after level buying level 1 it will take five times as long to build a home, or that Blueprints level 2 will cost five times as much as level 1, or something else?

"Requires five time the Cost" refers to you needing at least 5 times as many Homes before being able to getting the Upgrade. Since the Upgrade increases your pop space by 25% but costs Homes to get, it would reduce your current pop space if you got it to early. To circumvent that, I added the condition to need at least 5 times the cost of Homes :D

So I need 90 homes to buy the level 1 upgrade costing 18 homes?

A minor thing with Meowruto. When HP goes above 1,000, the total number shows the full amount, the number on the left uses k. So I have 1.08k/1077 HP.

Another thing I wonder about Devotion that I don't really understand from the wording is the Role Models / Bodybuilder upgrade.

Rewards your Devotion with Educated / Buffed Up Disciples: 3 + 1% of devoted Disciples

Does this mean that for every new ED / BD I get 3 + 1% of my total current DD?

(+1)

Yes, 90 Homes are required to get level 1, but you only spend 18, that is correct.

Thanks for pointing out the bug with Meowruto's HP, I'll get it fixed :)

And the Role Models/Bodybuilder upgrades give a minimum of 3 ED/BD and an additional 1% of your Disciples that you want to devote. So for every 100 (total amount, ED still count as 2 Disciples) you get another ED/BD in your next Devotion run

A common bug in the game is that every now and then Auto Hire Cats becomes Auto Buy Cat Levels. It is fixed once a new run is started though.

That's odd, does this mean the Automation for cat levels gets triggered twice per tick? I'll have to check it out, thanks for telling me :)

So the Role Model / Bodybuilder doesn't affect production, only devoting? I don't see the point in devoting ED/BD. Doesn't that just mean that I lose them? I train 8 normal disciples every few minutes, an ED every hour and a BD every two hours. ED/BD are worth way more than 2 disciples.

I am still a little confused by all this!

No worries, I totally understand this can be confusing :D

There's no need to devote your ED/BD in order to gain some through the Role Models or Bodybuilder upgrades.

I recommend only devoting basic Disciples and keeping all the other types of Disciples. This way your next Devotion run starts with an advantage.
