I have the newest version of Strive for Power and in seems that whenever I save my game (or the Autosave) it doesn't really save it.
Sure it keeps the money, resident count, day, and name. BUT NOTHING ELSE. Everything resets to zero on all fronts (money, supplies, residents. mana, etc.). Anyone know the cause or reason behind this? I has lost or five hours of work getting everything setup for easy street.
Without an error message (when opened as a stand-alone program there will be 2 windows, the game and a command prompt which will report problems), or something more specific it's difficult to tell the cause. If you are using any mods, it would help to know which ones.
There is only one known fatal error for 0.5.25 at the moment(https://itch.io/t/542925/bug). That bug should mostly effect progresses started before this version. The discord is a good place to get quick feedback and an easy way to upload a save file for proper examination.
Ok so my apologizes for not replying back to ANYONE the last few days been a little.
Yes i was using a mod called AricsExpansion and loaded the most up-to-date version and i kept getting an error but when I removed the mod for the active list i was able to save with no problem. So thanks everyone for your input. Guess I'll wait until someone fixes the mod until then normal vanilla game for me
Always checkout the instructions top of each mods page. Aric provides a bundled version with his mod, the latest public release however updates fairly often and he is in a middle of a big rework of the mod.
