Did you use any mod? If you use an outdated mods it may broke your save files. Try saving without use any mod first.

Thanks for the advice. It worked like charm but it also break the mod. I will tried to somehow change the code from Random Portrait mod a little bit, see if it will work.

Search google by name the artist name is 'slugbox' you will find more images similar to this.

I'm currently using latest version and improved random portrait also the latest version. But somehow when changing a darkelf portrait the list didn't showed up and turned empty. I also attempted to use the beauty portraits courtesy of Sexiestmanalive but not succeed. Also when changing original NPC (Hale sisters or yris) when talked to their portrait changed to their original ones. It's not a big deal because i seldom talked to them but it's a little annoying.
