The screenshots don't do this project justice; it looks incredible in-game! The UI in particular is really smooth and sleek; I love all of the animated effects! The effects on the main menu and the effects whenever you open up the screens look great! I've read a lot of commercial VNs which don't have as much attention paid to the UI; it's really impressive this is free and was made for a jam!

The VN itself is coded really nicely, too. There's a lot of attention paid to the positioning of the sprites, there's a lot of camera effects, and it just looks very nice and polished overall. You all did a great job with this!

The VA is also very clear and crisp, and all of the voices suit the characters. I feel like Micah's voice is maybe a lil whiney, but then... that suits his character 100% haha; the VA did a great job bringing him to life. I love Mari's VA too, she's also very fitting.

The story is well-paced and never drags, and though there's a lot of characters, they're all distinct and easy to tell apart. I got sucked into the story from the beginning and read the whole thing in one go. It ends on such a cliffhanger, though. I'd love to read more; I feel like Micah will have a pretty interesting character arc. A lot of building blocks have been set up to make a satisfying story. Given the large cast and the themes, it looks like it's shaping up to be pretty grand in scale, too!
