It does indeed come with a key, and I can see that they haven't all been claimed. Maybe it's a glitch on Itch.io's end and you should message them about it?

Bit of a belated reply (alright, a *lot* of a belated reply haha) but thank you very much! I'm glad that you enjoyed the story!
This VN is pretty old (I think I released it in 2015? Wow, time really flies...) but I'm glad it still holds up!
I'm pretty fond of Louis myself, so it's nice to know he's convincing, as one of my earlier attempts at writing a male lead! It's nice to know people are still reading this story even now!
Alright, it took a little while, but I've uploaded a new build of the VN which gives you the option to change the font to a plain black and it removes the outline around the text. Let me know if this is more legible!
Thank you so much! I'm glad that you enjoyed your time with it; it's always nice to hear that >_<
And thank you for being considerate and including all that space in your comment so as not to spoil anything too, even though I've been pretty bad about not spoiling things in the replies myself haha ;;
Speaking of spoilers...
I'm glad that most people seemingly have discovered there's more to the story than the very first 'loop' of the narrative haha; I was a bit worried people would read to the first ending, think that was it, and then quit out of the story without seeing everything ;w;
Thank you for being so considerate and wanting to check up on Medea haha ;;
And yeah, I thought it would make sense to include two lots of notes with the story: the first being on the general inspirations and themes, and the second on some more specific details about the characters' names (which I couldn't include in the first round of notes for obvious reasons).
I think I rambled in the notes a bit (I think both notes combined are like 3k or something lol) so I'm glad they were interesting!
I was kind of vague about the specifics of the story, but I think Medea decided to trap Rosette in a magical fantasy world removed from her own reality so ~they can be together forever~, and she's trying to escape, having realised she might not want to be shackled to the company of an amoral witch for all eternity lol
Thank you again for taking the time to write such a lovely comment; it's appreciated!!!
Thank you very much for taking the time to make a video on it! I'm glad you enjoyed it! >_<
Thank you very much for taking the time to check it out! It's gratifying to know that people liked it enough to recommend it too! >_<
And the VN does give you the option to restart, at least, so the characters don't technically have to be lonely forever ;w;
Her conduct was shockingly poor, I agree, but you can't be too hard on her. She *is* a princess, after all: she never had to worry about minding her manners, and she leant how to mingle with us commonfolk haha ;;
(At least a certain other character is considerate enough to drug you before doing anything heinous lol.......)
Aaa I'm sorry that it ate up so much of your time haha ;;
I'm glad it was worthwhile in the end though; thank you!
Thank you very much for checking this VN out, and for making a video about it! It's appreciated! <3
And I agree: I think the princess is very charming too!
What a fun VN! I had a good time reading it; thank you very much for creating it! The art, UI, and the general atmosphere are all really well done!
Alright, I'll make a note of it. I'll probably have to recode the options menu to accommodate any extra options, so it might take me a bit of time. I'll put it on my to-do list and I’ll see if I can get around to it during the next couple of weeks.
Once again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for pointing this problem out! It’s appreciated!
Are you talking about how the text appears in the screenshots on the Itch.io page, or have you downloaded the game and tried to play it?
I think the text is a bit harder to parse on the screenshots than it actually is in-game, because taking screenshots in Ren'py compresses the image quality a bit.
If you're finding the text difficult to read in-game, I can try to add a toggle to change the font colour in the preferences menu when I have the time (though it might take me a while).
In any case, I'm sorry if this causes any inconvenience!
Aaaa, I apologise for any trauma inflicted ;a;
I tried to warn for all of the potentially upsetting content that's present in the story on the Itch.io page, but perhaps I should have included the same warnings in-game as well upon booting it up. I was a bit hesitant about doing that because of potential spoilers, but that would be better than inadvertently upsetting people...
I'm glad you thought it was beautiful regardless, though!
Thank you so much! ;a;
And thank you for your work on the UI, too: you did a great job! It looks stunning! ♥
Aa thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! ;a;
I did specifically add that extra CG in there so people would see that the CG gallery isn't finished after their first run through. I thought it'd make them feel more compelled to start the game up again to see if there's anything they missed. I'm glad it worked!
I'm glad unlocking everything felt satisfying, too, even if I was a bit mean and I subjected the reader to the tedium of having to do a lot of skipping haha ;;;
(Then again, you have to skip in a lot of multi-route VNs anyway, so I suppose it's a common aspect of the medium...)
The UI for this VN is really aesthetic overall! The UI designer did a really good job; I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
And yes, I was trying to be pretty vague with the timeline on purpose to add to the sense of ~mystery~ haha
I was pretty deliberate about not referring to specific days of the week, too, or months of the year, or using any dates. I combed through the script after I wrote it to try and remove any mentions of specific time-related words (apart from years, I think) to enhance the atmosphere a bit more. I'm glad it was effective!
Aw, this was so cute! Thank you so much for making it; it really warmed my heart! <3
There were also a lot of cute CGs in this for a free project; you're spoiling your readers! >_<
That's how the game is meant to be, yes! I wanted the true ending to feel very 'final', so you don't have the option to go back to sleep again (unless you tamper with the game's external files, that is).
It might be a bit of a nuisance for people who want to replay the VN and read all of the endings though, haha ;;
I'm glad you enjoyed the story nonetheless!
I was wondering if retroactively adding demos to some of my older VNs might increase interest/sales in a significant way haha
I'm glad it seems to be working(?)
I'll try and add demos to my more expensive VNs (anything more than $10 or so) when I have the time!
Really nice, interesting VN with a twist I didn't see coming. The writing is simple but effective, and the art is gorgeous! The use of sound effects throughout also adds a lot to the atmosphere.
This is a gem of a VN; I enjoyed my time with it a lot! You all did a great job!
This is a very short and sweet (though maybe it's more bittersweet?) project which feels very personal. The photographic images are very striking, and I loved the monochrome aesthetic used throughout.
Thank you for making it; I enjoyed reading it!
It takes place about two years after the events of The Fairy's Song, featuring the same main cast of characters.
If you can recall in broad strokes what happens in The Fairy's Song it shouldn't be too confusing, though!
I don't think your review is pathetic at al! Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a comment; it really is appreciated!
I hope your situation improves and you feel less tired and depressed in the future! Maybe reading some happier VNs would help, GF Sim is kind of grim haha ;;;
Ah. I don't tend to write VNs with a lot of choices and branching paths because I don't personally enjoy reading VNs like that myself; I tend to like kinetic VNs more. If you're specifically looking for VNs with a lot of choices you might be better off looking elsewhere.
I don't know what Joiplay is, so I can't help you there. I apolgise for the inconvenience!
I downloaded this a while ago, but I only just found the time to try it out, and I'm glad I did! This is a really fun VN; I had a good time trying to get all the endings! (In fact, I'm still missing ending 6 haha)
The sheer number of CGs present in a free VN is very impressive, and they're all high quality, too!
For a yandere, Lena sure is cute! I like her design a lot, even if I can't say the same thing about her personality, haha ;;
Still, Jin is the best character! Why doesn't he have his own ending?! ;a;
Aw, this is so cute! Swirley is adorable; I really like her design (esp the heterochromatic star eyes).
The artwork of this VN looks so cosy, and it's impressive you did the music yourself, too! You did a great job!
It's not available on Steam because the reviewers at Valve decided it wasn't appropriate for the platform and it was banned. I wasn't given any chance to appeal the ban, and I was told I wasn't allowed to resubmit the VN for approval even if I edited things, so I'll never be able to release it on Steam.
It's unfortunate, but that's just the way it is!
Aaa I'm sorry it took me so long to reply to you; I must have missed your comment!
Thank you very much; I'm glad you enjoyed it! I like writing creepy/unsettling stories, so I'm glad it hit the mark!
I'm glad you got the password in the end; I hope it wasn't too obscure haha
And thank you!
It has some explicit text, but no explicit artwork. I presume the text is why it was banned, since whoever reviewed it decided it was 'sexualising minors'. I would contest this, but it is what it is.
Thank you very much for your detailed feedback! It's nice to know that you found the story emotionally impactful. I wanted to write a darker yuri VN, since there aren't too many of them available in English, so it sounds like I was successful in this endeavour!
I'd really rather people didn't rewrite my stories, but if you don't intend to turn a profit on any potential rewrites it then I suppose it's fine.
It's unlikely, given the VN being banned from Steam will have a negative impact on reach and sales. I don't think there'll be much value in paying for other translations now, as I doubt I would be able to recoup the costs.
The Spanish TL you read was done by a fan TL group, though (they didn't ask me permission to translate the VN first), so I suppose there's a chance they might decide to translate the sequel too.
