Nice on the theme side, and yea you made a platformer in Godot - congrats! How was that experience?

Mechnanics wise, the jump felt like it got cut off too quickly, but it’s a solid base. Of course with more time you can add level transitions etc. Good start.

now that I am getting the hang of Godot it was a lot of fun. and there is a lot of support for godot now so that makes learning easier. Thanks for playing !

Not bad platformer, but the execution was very vague and was laking levels, mechanics and hard but fair levels.

The others seem to have trouble finding gifts in level 2.It's not hard, but not fair

thanks for playing.  this was the first actual platformer I made using Godot .  I was just trying to have a very simple game play loop done, run jump , a moving platform , pick up, items and drop them off before a timer runs out.

Thanks for your feedback , do you have any suggestions on how I could have made the execution less vague ?

You could have added another mechanic at least, but I now understand that it’s probably your first game so after the jam you could maybe add more levels, showcase more enemies and mechanics like double jump or the floor is falling snow like Minecraft. This type of thing can really make the game feel more interesting

A decent platformer, the only problem is the time given, probably adding a second when additional gifts are delivered at once would give the player more time to find the extra gifts, I had a hard time looking for some of the gifts in level 2 because badly timed enemy and platform movement (Also can we talk about the fact that the enemies are Santa himself...)

Thanks for playing.  You do get 3 seconds when you collect a gift and 10 seconds when  you drop it off at santa's sled.  the problem is that if you play on the web GLbuild the game does not run smoothly and only get about 30 seconds to collect them all, it works best on google chrome.
and I was trying to find a Grinch character that fit but could not and I really wanted to figure out an enemy mechanic, so they are impostors dressed as Santa that steel the gift and resets the level. I appreciate your feed back.
